Job Description

• We are seeking to engage a competent facility officer whose primary responsibility would be to oversee all our restaurant appliances/ equipments.
• The ideal candidate would be responsible for the perfect working condition of all electrical and mechanical equipments including generating sets with an overall cost cutting initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Ensure both electrical and mechanical equipments and appliances are in good working condition at all outlets.
• Act immediately there is a report of fault of any appliances and equipments at any outlet to determine the need for repairs.
• Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs.
• Supervise artisans and third party vendors during maintenance and repairs.

Requirements and Skills

• First Degree or relevant qualification in Facility Management Engineering etc.
• 1 - 3 years work experience.
• Proven experience as facilities officer from a quick service restaurant.
• Well-versed in technical operations, utility and facilities management best practices
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Possess multitasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations.
• Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.
• Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints.
• Organize and supervise shifts.
• Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events.
• Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads).
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
• Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it.
• Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.
• Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses.
• Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
• Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations

Requirements and Skills

• Candidates should possess a B.Sc / HND / NCE / OND qualification with 1 - 3 years of work experience.
• Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar role.
• Proven customer service experience as a manager with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff.
• Acute financial management skills.
• Strong leadership, motivational and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all logistics, vehicle maintenance and product delivery across the entire organization.
• Ensure proper monitoring of drivers, vehicles are functional and adequate records are maintained and adequate communicating systems are put in place..
• Manage all logistics activities and work alongside the operations department to ensure reliable and prompt service delivery.
• Always ensure a contingency plan is in place in case of unforeseen and unplanned eventualities.
• Supervise other logistics staff as required.
• Generate reports on logistics operations and vehicle maintenance for management decision.
• Identify and mobilize resources for logistics operations, within the provisions made available by the organization.
• Monitor vehicles to ensure that they meet up with legal requirements and road worthiness.

Requirements

• HND or B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering or other related fields.
• 2 - 3 years relevant experience in logistics and transport operations preferably from a quick service restaurant
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Must be a team player, with good interpersonal relationship skill.
• Sound mechanical knowledge of vehicles.
