    Executive Assistant to CEO

    Job Overview

    • DreamCity is looking for an accomplished and proactive Executive Assistant who thrives in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
    • The role is considered a strategic partnership with the CEO and the ideal candidate who will be a seasoned professional with a proven track record in C-suite support and operational efficiency, must possess the flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet the demanding schedule of the executive office and will be duly compensated for same.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide comprehensive, high-level administrative and logistical support to the MD, managing a complex and fluid calendar, prioritizing inquiries and requests, and troubleshooting conflicts.
    • Act as a key liaison for the MD in business development activities, including preparing pitch decks, conducting preliminary research on potential partners or investments, and assisting with the preparation of business proposals.
    • Identify and implement improvements to the MD's workflow and office operations to enhance productivity and efficiency across the executive office.
    • Serve as a primary point of contact between the MD and internal/external stakeholders, including board members, investors, and key regulatory bodies, ensuring professional and effective communication.
    • Draft, review, and manage high-level correspondences, communications, presentations, and reports on behalf of the MD with a high degree of discretion and confidentiality.
    • Organize and coordinate executive-level meetings, both internal and external, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and ensuring follow-up on action items. Manage logistics for corporate events as required.
    • Oversee and track key projects and initiatives led by the MD, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.
    • Conduct in-depth research, compile data, and prepare papers for consideration and presentation by the CEO.
    • Arrange complex logistics for extensive national and international travel itineraries, including flights, accommodation, and ground transportation, even on short notice at the behest of the CEO
    • Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost integrity and discretion.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related field.
    • A Master’s degree will be a distinct advantage.
    • A minimum of 8 years of proven experience as an Executive Assistant directly supporting a C-Suite executive (MD, COO, CEO, or Group Chairperson).
    • Must have verifiable work experience within the real estate development/construction, Finance/investment, or hospitality industries.
    • Demonstrable experience in supporting business development initiatives and improving operational efficiency.
    • Proven track record of liaising with senior-level stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
    • Functional proficiency in use of MS Office Suite and project management tools.
    • Must possess an appetite for meeting targets, beating dealines, and be available and willingn to work late hours outside work days/hours often or as deemed necessary.
    • Recommended Age bracket: Ages 35 to 45 years.

    • Sound knowledge of the Lagos real estate market, including key locations, property values, and trends.
    • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Must be within the age bracket of 30–40 years and possess a valid driver’s license.
