    Welding Trainer/Superintendent - CRA/CuNi

    Prime Responsibilities

    • To deliver effective structured CRA training curriculum and assess candidates to the Nigerian (and as applicable International) awarding body standards and support trainees to at- lain acceptable competency level
    • Mentor and coach Trainee Welders, including preparing them to obtain appropriate certifications as required.
    • Supervision of fit-up and welding activities on site
    • Assessing trainees progress and advising management oi same or any additional interventions that may be needed to ensure the+re able to successfully complete the Training programme
    • Assist in preparing and delivering candidate aptitude tests,
    • Assist in the preparation, delivery, evaluation and reporting on all theoretical welder/filter training modules.

    Qualifications

    • B.Engr. in Mechanical or Metallurgy Engineering or a relevant Trade Certificate/Qualification with competency in subject matter including a relevant training qualification.

    Experience:

    • 7years or more in the Oil/Gas Construction/Fabrication Industry. Awareness of safety rules and standard of the industry with at least 3 years of proven field experience with stamped qualifications of welding CRA and CuNi material in 6G/60R positions.

    Construction Manager

    Prime Responsibilities

    • Responsible for coordinating, supervising, managing and delivering all construction activities whilst ensuring all HSE requirements are met and also the management and coordination of all project specifications, drawings and associated technical data, gaining the necessary approvals and ensuring support is available when meeting the project quality requirements
    • Assisting the Project Manager with the planning and the constructibility of all structures from fabrication stage to the construction stage, liaising with all relevant departments to ensure the schedule is melon time and on budget Key Skills: Fully literate in reading from Structural/isometric and P&1D drawings.
    • Self-motivated and proactive towards tasks and activities and showing leadership skills towards all disciplines within the project.
    • Able to read and understand Primavera PG
    • Able to use Microsoft excel ‘Able to read and understand lift plans
    • Able to develop learn from experience and initiate continuous self-improvement with a positive attitude towards change

    Qualifications

    • Degree from recognised institution with competency in subject matter including a relevant training qualification/certification.

    Experience:

    • 10 years or more experience and 3 years or more in current position. Proven leadership and people management skills in the offshore Oil & Gas and/or Petrochemical Industry. Awareness of safety rules and standard of the industry, Experience of Managing EPC projects with a minimum Project value of $200m

    Senior Cost Engineer

    Prime Responsibilities

    • Support the development of structured, consistent and accurate cost control, reporting and estimating for a surface facilities project.
    • Provide support to individual Project team members in establishing and maintaining up to date project cost engineering deliverables including variance analysts of cost over/under runs.
    • Monitor expenditure monthly on a Value of Work Done (VOWO) basis for the project to produce cost forecasts (latest estimates), to provide timely notification of potential over/under-runs against approved budgets.
    • Produce monthly/quarterly/annual variance and trend analysis expenditure reports
    • Produce deliverables to support PE’s/PM’s by establishment and maintenance of cost progress S-curves (inclusive of actuala, forecasts. and commitments) for the ongoing project - prepare overall project summary reports on the same basis.
    • Capture and highlight costs resulting from the change control procedure

    Qualifications

    • Degree from recognised institution with competency in subject matter including a relevant training qualification/certification.

    Experience:

    • 8 years or more experience and 3 years or more in current position. Technical professional with in depth project fabrication engineering/construction experience and knowledge of project controls requirements particularly relating to such. Awareness of safety rules and standard of the industry.
