Candidate Profile & Required Qualifications

Academic & Professional Credentials

• Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, Primary Education, or a closely related academic discipline (a Master’s Degree is highly advantageous).
• Valid teaching certification or license from a recognized educational governing body.

Proven Experience

• A minimum of 5+ years of progressive, demonstrable classroom teaching experience within an elite international or progressive primary school setting.
• Deep familiarity with advanced educational frameworks such as Experiential Learning, the Montessori Method, Reggio Emilia, or the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme.Core Competencies & Soft Skills
• Advanced Classroom Management: Masterful ability to guide student behavior smoothly without relying on rigid, authoritarian structures.
• Exceptional Communication: Superior command of written and spoken English, with the ability to articulate complex pedagogical strategies to diverse stakeholders.
• Emotional Intelligence: High empathy, resilience, and adaptability in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
• Proximity: Candidate must ideally reside within Lekki, Victoria Island, or nearby Ikoyi axes to ensure logistical sustainability.
