Role Mission

Job Description

• Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repairs of the production machine, equipment & tools (Electrical).
• To frequently liaise with the Processing engineering manager on maintenance and repair activities of the electrical systems on the production plant electrical systems.
• To continuously improve the electrical system of the plant to minimize or possibly eliminate total breakdown
• To plan for the various maintenance schedules (Preventive maintenance) of all equipment based on the anticipated and planned production.
• To continuously carry out routine checks on all production electronic machines and ensure they are in good working conditions.
• To frequently liaise with the processing engineering manager on the calibration of all the measuring and weighing equipment, and execute other related activities as defined by the Processing Engineering Manager.
• To plan and optimize electrical spares to guarantee uninterrupted operations.
• To review the existing production facilities; modification of existing facilities in line with the reviewed processes and initiation of technical projects for improved productivity and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
• To drive Plant Efficiency Improvement programs (TPM, OEE, etc.).
• To comply with all Safety, and Quality regulations.
• To read and interpret design schematics to ensure the proper installation of electrical systems.

Qualities that Set you Apart

• First-hand knowledge about coding machines (Ink & Video jets).
• Qualification in Electrical Electronics / Mechatronics
• 5 - 7 years work experience.
• Experience in FMCG manufacturing setting, (special attention to installation and
  maintenance, interpretation of electrical drawings).
• Vast knowledge in the use of Microsoft suits, intranet, Google sheet, and
  general computer appreciation.
• The ability to speak Hausa fluently is an added advantage.
• Stamina to work round the clock during the peak of the project.

Role Mission

• To carry out Concentration/ Evaporation of Tomato Juice to achieve CK/HB according to recipe standard.

Job Description

• Operate steam feeding group with manual/automatic valves, filter, pneumatic regulation valves, steam injector unit, safety valves, and inlet and outlet water temperature transmitters.
• Run the Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) of the equipment using caustic soda, Nitric acid and Rinse water when required.
• Operate several control panels and understand the importance of pressures and temperature on product specs.
• Able to monitor the process both prior to and after the evaporation stage.
• Able to effectively communicate the process variables applicable to the operated evaporator to the team.
• Keep records of all required documentation.

Qualities that set you Apart

• Candidates should possess an OND, HND qualification with 1 - 2 years work experience.
• Knowledge of electro pneumatic control panel.
• Knowledge in HACCP/GMP.
• Experience in Tubular heat exchanger/Pasteurizer.
• Ability to communicate in Hausa
• Working experience in FMCG tomato manufacturing setting.
• Certificate in food science/ vacuum dehydration technology.
