    Electrical Engineer - Tendering & Design

    Job Objective / Purpose

    • A proactive individual responsible for gathering and analyzing data on raw materials, labor, and equipment to ensure accurate cost estimates while identifying potential cost uncertainties.
    • This role involves updating costs based on new information and collaborating with project stakeholders.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage, design, develop, and maintain sustainable engineering practices.
    • Conduct on-site investigations and analyze various data (maps, reports, tests, drawings, etc.).
    • Carry out technical and feasibility studies and prepare blueprints that meet technical specifications.
    • Assess potential risks, materials, and costs.
    • Provide creative solutions to emerging problems and deficiencies.
    • Oversee and mentor staff while liaising with a variety of stakeholders.
    • Deliver the resulting structures and services for operational use.
    • Monitor project progress and compile status reports.
    • Manage budgets and procure equipment/materials.
    • Ensure compliance with guidelines and regulations, including permits and safety standards, and deliver required technical documentation.

    Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):

    • Collaborate with management regarding health and safety welfare.
    • Avoid engaging in improper conduct that may endanger personal or others’ safety and health.
    • Participate in health and safety training provided by the company.
    • Report any unsafe acts, conditions, near misses, or incidents immediately for resolution.

    • Staff effectiveness is a significant contributor to cost optimization.

    Internal Process:

    • Ensure that staff training needs are met for efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Manage general request turnaround times between employees and management.
    • Assign turnaround times to every request and ensure adherence by staff.
    • Provide adequate tools/resources for staff to foster effectiveness.

    Education / Qualifications

    • Candidates should possess an OND / HND / BSc in Electrical Engineering or any related field
    • Certificate of Artisanship / City and Guild Craft certificate
    • High experience in electrical repairs, installation, and maintenance.
    • General knowledge of new-age electrical designs, materials, and AutoCAD.

    Skills:

    • Good oral and written communication skills.
    • Team player with good sight.
    • Strong reporting and presentation skills.
    • Strong mathematical and organizational skills.
    • Computer literacy (MS Word/Excel) is a plus.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 5 years in general electrical work.

    Chief Security Officer

    Job Overview:

    • The Chief Security Officer (CSO) is responsible for overseeing the security operations of the organization. This includes developing and implementing security policies, protocols, and procedures, ensuring the safety of personnel, property, and assets, and leading the security team. The CSO will also assess potential security risks and work with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate these risks.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Procurement Executive

    Responsibilities

    • Obtaining material requisition from various units for all items
    • Inventory: Ensuring stock movements in coverage locations are above standard minimum level at all times in order to avoid OOS (Out-Of-Stock) and monitor the items’ Re-Order level
    • Compile material usage trend to identify excessive usage/waste, ensure economy utilization of items and provide report
    • Providing procurement solution and product research in order to identify items that meet the specific requirement with efficient performance
    • Undertake regular visit to assess the competence and qualification of the vendors
    • Responsible for maintaining proper correspondences with vendors (keeping all necessary stakeholders in loop)
    • Ensuring that items are delivered OTIF (On-Time-In-Full) in order to meet material requisition through proper Order tracking system
    • Conduct ROI analysis for critical items and comparison of values to provide necessary cost saving and economy of resources to the organization
    • Perform Procurement process optimization through constant suppliers’ evaluation and selection
    • Responsible for verifying Proformas/Quotations, following due process in obtaining requisite approvals for purchase orders and communicating order confirmation to the vendor
    • Responsible for proper documentation & filing of processes, orders, all relevant records and registers
    • Responsible for verifying Debit Notes for any claim from Suppliers and obtain Credit Notes from Vendors within appropriate time frame

    Other Accountabilities:

    • Ensuring all Administrative issues which could impair OTIF are resolved within a reasonable timeframe and necessary escalation is made if delayed
    • Other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the FC/BH

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the manufacturing environment and exposed to Project procurement.
    • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficient in using procurement software and tools.
    • Knowledge of contract law and procurement best practices.

    Senior Network Engineer

    Responsibilities

    • Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
    • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
    • Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
    • Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
    • Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
    • Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
    • Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team
    • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

    Requirements and skills

    • Proven hands-on network engineering experience
    • CCNP or higher (CCIE and/or CISSP highly valued)
    • Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
    • Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
    • Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
    • University degree in Computer Science or a related subject
