To design, assemble, wire, test, troubleshoot, and commission electrical control panels and switchboards in accordance with approved electrical drawings, engineering specifications, applicable standards, and company procedures.
The role is responsible for ensuring that panel-building activities are completed safely, accurately, efficiently, and to the required quality standards and project timelines.
Responsibilities
Review electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, cable schedules, equipment specifications, and other relevant engineering documents before commencing work.
Interpret and implement approved electrical designs and panel-building drawings.
Prepare materials, components, tools, and equipment required for panel fabrication and assembly.
Assemble electrical control panels, distribution boards, MCC panels, automation panels, junction boxes, and related electrical enclosures.
Install and wire electrical components including circuit breakers, contactors, relays, terminals, meters, transformers, power supplies, PLCs, VFDs, control devices, protection devices, and other panel-mounted equipment.
Carry out panel fabrication activities including enclosure preparation, drilling, cutting, gland installation, DIN rail installation, trunking, mounting plates, component installation, and cable management.
Perform control and power wiring in accordance with approved drawings, wiring schedules, applicable standards, and good engineering practices.
Conduct continuity, insulation resistance, point-to-point, functional, and other required electrical tests on completed panels.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree / HND in Electrical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
Relevant professional certification or membership of a recognized engineering body is an advantage.
Relevant training in electrical panel building, industrial automation, PLCs, VFDs, control systems, or electrical testing is an advantage.
Knowledge of applicable electrical standards, codes, and safe working practices.
3–5 years' relevant experience in electrical panel building, industrial electrical installation, control panel assembly, testing, commissioning, or a related field.
Practical experience in assembling and wiring control panels, MCCs, distribution boards, automation panels, and electrical enclosures.
Achieves maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company’s products and/or related services. Personally, contacts and secures new business.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers to drive sales growth.
Identify new business opportunities through market research, networking, cold calling, and client visits.
Conduct sales presentations, prepare quotations, and negotiate contracts to close deals.
Manage the sales process from lead generation to after-sales support.
Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing, Logistics, Finance, and Technical Support, to ensure seamless service delivery.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
Maintain accurate sales records and submit regular sales reports.
Achieve assigned sales targets while promoting the company's products and services professionally.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years Proven experience as a Sales Executive, Sales Representative, Business Development Executive, or in a similar role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and proactive approach.
