    Electrical Engineer (Data Centre)

    What you will do as an Electrical Engineer (Data Centre)

    • Efficiently engineer and model design using technical and 3D/BIM modelling skills
    • Engineering the electrical design in project teams under the guidance of the Lead Engineer
    • Develop diagrams of the electrical installation and coordinate with other disciplines for the initial space reservations
    • Modelling the electrical installation in 3D Revit/BIM based on diagrams and coordinated space reservation
    • Implement your knowledge based on functionality, mountability, accessibility and maintainability into the model to ensure that the contractor can build it according to our model without revising it.
    • Work within a multidisciplinary team across borders.
    • In addition to participating in projects, contribute to the optimization of internal business processes and to safeguarding and sharing knowledge within the field. 

    What you bring

    • B.Sc / B.Eng Degree in Electrical Engineering
    • Progress towards professional registration with COREN will be advantageous
    • Minimum experience, knowledge & skills:
    • Minimum of 3 years post graduate relevant, multi-disciplinary experience, preferably within a consulting engineering environment
    • BIM and Revit experience are non-negotiable.
    • BIM360, Revizto, Dynamo and Python experience are advantageous.
    • Proven experience in the electrical engineering field with an in-depth knowledge of Electrical Building Services, Electrical

    • Experience with data centres / mission-critical facilities advantageous

    Junior Architect (Data Centres)

    What you will do as a Junior Architect (Data Centres)

    • Prepare/assist with Inception reports, concept schematic drawings and architectural packages to support Senior Design Architect.

    • Perform site inspections and attend meetings

    • Demonstrable experience on multidisciplinary design coordination, preferably on FMCG industrial projects with process interfaces.
    • Professional registration with a relevant body required (COREN, SACPCMP and/or PMI).

    Structural Engineer (Data Centre)

    What you will do as Structural Engineer:

    • Structural engineering and design during all project phases according to client, national and international standards.
    • Assess client/ project structural engineering requirements.

Beyond the standard features of a building, our MCF projects require specific and advanced knowledge and skills. What our clients have in common, is the need for a proactive Fire Engineer.
    • With your technical and 3D/BIM modelling skills, you know how to efficiently engineer and model design.

    Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Engineering the design in project teams. Specific installations such as sprinkler, fire alarm, smoke heat extraction (SHE) or gas extinguishing installation

    Mechanical Engineer

    Job Description

    • Mechnical Design & Engineering experience, being able to make technical design documents, calculations and drawings
    • Responsible for the coordination, implementation, execution and completion of Mechanical and Plumbing Design & Engineering Work.
    • Closely monitor and supervise the Contractors / Subcontractors to ensure proper installation and commissioning of all Mechanical (and Electrical) Installations during the construction phase
    • Knowledge and expertise of the Electrical engineering is very welcome.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Develop narrative specifications (Program of Requirements) that defines the technical requirements to be adopted on all Mechanical (and Electrical) work. The latter in close collaboration with the Client, Architect and the Project Manager.
    • Extensive experience with Design & Engineering of: HVAC Equipment’s, Firefighting Equipment’s, Fire hose racks, External hydrant system, Sprinklers System, Gas Suppressions System, Diesel pump, Fire water Tank, Chillers, Air compressors, Pumps, Boilers, Generating plants, Sanitary installations and Effluent Treatment plan, Waste water (treatment) plants and drainage/earthing work, Manufacturing Equipment’s, CO2 systems, etc.
    • Experience with Design & Engineering of: power (low, medium and high Voltage), uninterrupted power supply (UPS) systems, diesel generators, lighting systems, ICT, Security installations, Fire Detection and Alarms, manufacturing equipment’s.
    • Extensive experience with Industrial projects (production plants FMCG/F&B) and related facilities.
    • Experience in projects for Multinational Clients is preferred.
    • Design & Engineering of all applicable design phases.
    • Interface management with other disciplines and parties (i.e. Consultants, Vendors, Subcontractors, Equipment Suppliers, etc.) performing other Mechanical and Electrical activities.
    • Continually monitors performance of all assigned Mechanical (and Electrical) engineers & supervisors .
    • Ensures quality control procedures are being followed and maintained during design & construction.
    • Supports the Construction Manager and Cost Engineer in the MEP related costing
    • Supervises the Mechanical & Electrical Works during Construction incl. safety on site
    • Provides technical advice and assistance to Contractors staff as requested.

    Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Experience

    • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering.

    Construction Manager

    Job Description

    • As a construction manager you are expected to deliver total success to allocated projects in green- and brown-field manufacturing environments.
    • You will be leading and managing multidisciplinary (site) teams and act as the single point of contact to the client and the stakeholders.
    • Construction Management of industrial buildings (FMCG/F&B).

    Main Responsibilities

    • Scope, Time, Cost, Risk, Quality and Procurement Management.
    • In charge of the construction management team during the execution phase.
    • Chair regular coordination of technical meetings with the design & engineering team and also the contractors and other involved parties.
    • Prepare construction schedules, and closely monitor the progress achieved. Interface management (Civil/MEP/Equipment) is considered as an important responsibility of the Construction Manager.
    • Inspection and review of all (shop) drawings.
    • Review, monitor and advise the client on variation orders by contractors and do the appropriate technical and financial negotiations on behalf of the client.
    • Preparation of Contract Documents, Specifications, Bills of Quantities and supervision activities
    • Liaise with all levels of clients, local authorities, contractors and specialist consultants on administrative and technical subjects
    • Providing sound engineering judgement and advice.
    • Writing technical and financial proposals.

    Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Experience

    • Candidates should possess a minimum of B.Sc / B.Eng Degree in an Engineering discipline (Civil / Structural / Mechanical)
    • 10 - 15 years experience in construction management and coordination (interface management) related roles within complex projects.
    • Industrial oriented projects (factories, warehouses, and comparable) for Multinational clients.
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, MS Project, presentation abilities, AUTOCAD.
