    Drill Rig Technician

    Job Summary

    • The Drill Rig Technician is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting drilling equipment used in mining, construction, oil & gas, or geotechnical projects.
    • The role ensures safe, efficient, and accurate drilling operations in line with project specifications and safety standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Operate drill rigs and associated equipment in a safe and efficient manner
    • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on drilling equipment
    • Inspect machinery before and after use to ensure proper functioning
    • Monitor drilling parameters (depth, pressure, speed) and adjust as required
    • Interpret drilling plans, technical drawings, and site specifications
    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
    • Record drilling data and maintain accurate logs and reports
    • Identify and troubleshoot mechanical or operational issues
    • Coordinate with site engineers, geologists, and supervisors
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • Minimum of OND/HND/Technical Certification in Mechanical Engineering or related field
    • Proven experience operating drill rigs (industry-specific experience preferred: mining, construction, oil & gas, etc.)
    • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
    • Knowledge of drilling techniques and equipment
    • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
    • Physically fit and able to work in demanding environments
    • Willingness to work in remote locations and on rotational shifts

    Accountant Intern

    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including cash flow and budget performance reports.
    • Perform reconciliations for bank statements, ledgers, and invoices.
    • Support compliance with applicable standards (i.e., IFRS, GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
    • Process and document payments on bank platforms.
    • Maintain records for asset registers, invoices, and operational expenses.
    • Assist with monthly management account preparation and financial reporting.
    • Provide timely and accurate financial information to the Accountant and management.
    • Collaborate with external auditors by organizing and supplying required documentation.
    • Ensure timely remittances and filings of taxes and statutory deductions.
    • Process invoices promptly and accurately, facilitating seamless financial transactions with our partners and vendors
    • Record and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring that financial obligations are met and funds are received promptly.
    • Manage payroll and employee expense claims.

    Qualifications, Skill Sets, And Values

    • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • Demonstrable knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
    • 0-1 year of accounting or finance experience.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
    • Familiarity with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
    • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
    • Understanding of tax filings and compliance requirements.
    • Strong organisational, numeracy and time management skills with keen attention to detail.
    • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
    • The ability to learn, adapt, and thrive in a fast-paced environment is required
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.
