    Divisional Head

    Responsibilities 
    As the Divisional Head, you will be responsible for:

    • Direct all operational aspects including distribution operations, customer service, human resources, administration and sales in allocated Bracnhes.
    • Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities in allocated braches
    • Develop forecasts, financial objectives and business plans forallocated braches
    • Meet goals and metrics
    • Manage budget and allocate funds appropriately acorss allocated braches
    • Bring out the best of branches'personnel by providing training, coaching, development and motivation
    • Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities
    • Share knowledge with other branches and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs
    • Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly
    • Adhere to high ethical standards, and comply with all regulations/applicable laws
    • Network to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company
    • Stay abreast of competing markets and provide reports on market movement and penetration

    Experience

    • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields with 5 - 8 years work experience.
    • Proven experience in a similar role within the finance industry, especially a Microfinance Bank is strongly preferred.
    • Experience in developing and implementing strategic plans is required.
    • Master's Degree is a plus.
    • Microfinance Certification is an added advantage.

    IT / MIS Support Officer

    Job Description

    • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office suite
    • Installation and configuration, repair of computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners and monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
    • Network administration and configuration of device management.
    • Ensure all IT assets are accounted for and in good working order at all times.
    • Log and monitor service requests from both internal and external Customers until resolved
    • Onboarding and off-boarding Employees as requested and ensuring new staff has access to the right applications for their job.
    • Provide IT support to internal staff to include hardware, software, and application support
    • Maintain and ensure up to date disaster recovery plan
    • Liaise with 3rd party IT vendors for the support and maintenance of systems

    Requirements

    • Minimum of OND / HND / Bachelor Degree in a related discipline.
    • Hardware and networking experience (must be good in the repair and maintenance of computer hardware and networking)
    • Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft office suite
    • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
    • Ability to maintain a calm and polite manner in stressful situations
    • Good time management skills and ability to work under pressure
    • Previous IT Support and customer service experience is a plus
    • Good command of written and verbal English
    • Ability to understand and explain complex concepts in a clear, simple manner to customers

    Internal Control Officer

    Description 
    The responsibilities of an Internal Control Officer in a microfinance bank are critical to ensuring the institution's compliance, risk mitigation, and operational integrity:

    • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential risks to the bank.

    • Prepare regular reports for management, summarizing key control metrics, audit findings, and recommendations.
    • Communicate the results of internal audits and assessments to the appropriate stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with different departments to ensure that internal controls are integrated into various operational processes.
    • Track the implementation of corrective actions based on audit findings.
    • Ensure that identified weaknesses or deficiencies are addressed promptly.
    • Assess the effectiveness of information systems and technology controls.
    • Ensure that technology-related risks are identified and mitigated.
