    Digital Marketer

    Description

    • Our Product Marketing Analyst (Paid Channels) will acquire new leads and customers through pay-per-click and cost-per-acquisition campaigns.
    • He/she will be in charge of all external online acquisition marketing, managing the strategy, execution, and optimization across channels.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage the strategy and setup of all paid campaigns.
    • Measure and optimize our paid marketing using vendor-specific dashboards, Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, and Mixpanel.
    • Research and test partnerships with new vendors to expand our reach and/or lower cost-per-acquisition.
    • Collaborate with marketing teammates to maintain a consistent brand voice and message across all paid programs.
    • Craft landing pages and lead-gen forms for our content to distribute through relevant paid programs.
    • Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and potential new channels and strategies to keep us ahead, including updates to social media marketing, attribution, and programmatic media buying.
    • Manage the day-to-day operational matters of ad planning, campaign management, and performance reporting.

    Qualifications

    • BA/BS or equivalent working experience.
    • Previous work in a startup, marketing agency environment, retail, or FMCG
    • In-depth knowledge of the various paid marketing channels, including paid search, retargeting, and social media ads (Meta, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest)
    • Excellent communicator with the ability to sell and convince. You will manage all relationships with vendors and ensure we get the most efficient cost possible.
    • Experience handling marketing budgets and forecasting/reporting results.

    Motion Graphic Designer

    About the job

    • As a Motion Graphics Designer/ Video Editor, you will be reporting to the design lead and responsible for producing and editing high-quality motion graphics for client videos, websites, social media, and a vast array of other media.
    • You will create live video content, graphics, and animation for handheld electronic devices, web programs, video games, smartphones, and mobile platforms, including apps.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Create motion graphics and other video content with high visual impact for clients and other projects
    • Work to a brief, developing and pitching creative ideas and concepts, and choosing the appropriate media and style to meet objectives
    • Establish priorities while handling multiple projects and communicate accurate time estimates for each part of the process
    • Overall editing responsibilities for quality control - including proofreading and cross-checking facts,
    • spelling, grammar, writing style, design pages, photos, images, sound, color, etc.
    • secure appropriate rights, licenses, and clearances for video usage, image usage, and soundtrack usage to protect our clients and Pulse from copyright infringement
    • Ensure proper organization and safekeeping of video footage and logs and their backups
    • Keep abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly video and design programs such as Adobe Premiere Pro, 3ds Max, After Effects, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and other programs from the Adobe Creative Suite to ensure that Pulse remains on the cutting edge
    • Videography in-house and on the field, and events coverage may sometimes be assigned
    • All-around assistance with post-production activities

    SKILLS

    • Experience producing motion graphics in a professional, post-production environment is preferred.
    • Strong Adobe Premiere and After Effects skills and a good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator as it applies to video post-production
    • Strong project management, time management, and problem-solving skills
    • Great communication skills to keep the team up to date on project timelines
    • Ability to work independently and also as part of a team - you will work with a team of other copywriters, designers, account managers, web developers, etc
    • Highly organized, goal-oriented, and can drive results while multi-tasking priorities

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Back End Developer

    Description

    • You will manage data interchange between the site/software users and servers. Your primary focus areas are to develop the server-side logic, develop and maintain the central database, and ensure high responsiveness and performance to front-end requests.
    • The Backend Developer is responsible for the front-end integration, requiring you to have a basic understanding of front-end technologies.
    • The Backend Developer must be highly skilled at developing the Application Program Interface (APIs) and integrating with third-party APIs. You will also have experience integrating multiple databases and data sources into a single system.
    • You must also be familiar with managing hosting environments, including database administration and application scaling, to support load changes.
    • You should show familiarity with data migration, scripting, transformation, and the setup and administration of backups.

    Responsibilities

    • Design, implement and/or use RESTful web services
    • Build scalable microservices-based systems
    • Understand the needs of the customer or business and utilize this knowledge to develop applications that are consistent with the specific needs and requests of the customer
    • Participate in agile software development, prototyping, testing, and code reviews
    • Write code and libraries that meet the project standards to deliver the desired functionality aligned with the engineering department’s overall standards and guidelines.
    • Work with other developers, data scientists, system engineers, and other technical experts to develop and implement solutions, especially working closely with the front-end developers in building and ensuring synchrony in developing the business’s sites/software and integrating consumer-facing elements through server-side logic.
    • Conduct impact assessments and make recommendations concerning technology choices, design considerations, and strategy implementation.
    • Gather and introduce new and relevant technologies and information on factors such as documentation practices, scalability, testing techniques, and refactoring.
    • Similar duties as assigned by the Head of Engineering or the CEO.

    Qualifications

    • At least three years of working experience in a software engineering position in a startup.
    • Proficient in using Javascript, Typescript, and NodeJs to build scalable and reliable backend systems.
    • Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc.)
    • Proficient in selecting from best practice design patterns and principles when designing software architectures and algorithms.
    • Experience in event-driven architecture and real-time application.
    • Familiar with logging/alerting/monitoring tools such as Grafana, ELK stack, and Prometheus.
    • Experience in integrating third-party APIs (RESTful and Graph).
    • Relevant experience using cloud-based tools and services.

    Requirements

    • Education: The Backend Developer should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any other relevant field. An equivalent of the same in working experience is also acceptable for this position.
    • Communication Skills: You will also need outstanding communication skills to execute your duties properly. Communication skills are essential for this collaborative position, where the clarity of your communications will largely determine how efficiently collaborative activities are executed, hence determining the success or failure of the site/software in question.
    • Interpersonal Skills: Certain attributes make a candidate more suitable for the role. The candidate must be a consumer-oriented individual, be result-oriented, be a team player and a team builder, can work comfortably in a highly collaborative setting, be able to work comfortably in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment, be highly organized, can work on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines, and demonstrate the ability to stay calm and composed in stressful and uncertain times.
