    Diesel Mechanic (Service Technician)

    Summary

    • Responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, servicing, repair, and preventive maintenance of Toyota diesel vehicles in accordance with Toyota manufacturer specifications, technical standards, quality requirements, and workshop safety procedures.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform routine and preventive maintenance services on Toyota diesel vehicles, including engine oil, oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, and coolant replacement.
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel engine faults using Toyota-approved diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and technical service manuals.
    • Inspect, service, and repair diesel fuel injection systems, common-rail systems, turbochargers, intercoolers, and engine management systems.
    • Carry out engine performance checks, tune-ups, injector inspections, and fuel system diagnostics.
    • Inspect and repair engine, transmission, clutch, differential, braking, suspension, steering, cooling, and exhaust systems.
    • Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic systems associated with diesel engine operation, including sensors, actuators, charging, and starting systems.
    • Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify worn, damaged, or defective components and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
    • Use appropriate measuring instruments, diagnostic tools, and workshop equipment to ensure accurate fault identification and repairs.
    • Carry out road tests after repairs and servicing to confirm vehicle performance, reliability, and safety.
    • Ensure all repairs and maintenance activities comply with Toyota technical procedures, service standards, and customer requirements.
    • Accurately document vehicle inspections, diagnoses, repairs, parts replaced, and service activities on job orders and service records.
    • Communicate technical findings and repair recommendations effectively to Service Advisors, Workshop Supervisors, and customers when required.
    • Work closely with Service Advisors, Parts Personnel, and other technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repair jobs.
    • Maintain proper care and accountability for workshop tools, diagnostic equipment, and service facilities.
    • Observe all workshop Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements, including proper use of PPE and safe handling of tools, equipment, oils, and other automotive materials.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in accordance with workshop quality standards.
    • Keep up to date with Toyota diesel technologies, technical bulletins, service procedures, and emerging automotive technologies through continuous training and professional development.

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Minimum of O level certificate with at least 5 years work experience.
    • Knowledge in Electronic part catalogue (EPC) is an added advantage.
    • Automotive certifications or trainings desired
    • Technically inclined and able to identify spare parts and their general functions.
    • Demonstrated excellent organizational, and personal interface skills.
    • Commitment to work overtime when the needed.
    • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Must be able to work under pressure.
    • High level of professional integrity.
    • Strong work ethic
    • People friendly and team player.
    • Must have a driving license

    Electrician and AC Service Technician

    Summary of Responsibilities 

    • Responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, servicing, repair, and maintenance of Toyota vehicle electrical, electronic, air-conditioning, and climate-control systems in accordance with Toyota technical standards, manufacturer specifications, quality requirements, and workshop safety procedures.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic faults in Toyota vehicles using approved diagnostic scanners, multimeters, test equipment, and wiring diagrams.
    • Inspect, test, and repair vehicle starting and charging systems, including batteries, alternators, starters, fuses, relays, and related wiring.
    • Diagnose and repair vehicle lighting systems, indicators, horn, wipers, power windows, central locking, mirrors, and other electrical accessories.
    • Inspect and repair wiring harnesses, electrical connectors, sensors, actuators, switches, and control modules.
    • Carry out electrical system troubleshooting and identify short circuits, open circuits, voltage drops, poor connections, and other electrical faults.
    • Perform diagnostic scans and interpret fault codes to identify electrical and electronic system failures.
    • Service and repair Toyota air-conditioning systems, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion valves, blower motors, pressure switches, and related components.
    • Carry out A/C system inspection, refrigerant recovery, evacuation, leak testing, vacuuming, and refrigerant charging using appropriate A/C service equipment.
    • Diagnose poor cooling performance, abnormal compressor operation, refrigerant leaks, electrical control faults, and airflow problems.
    • Inspect and replace defective A/C components and ensure correct system operation after repairs.
    • Test and verify electrical and A/C systems after servicing or repairs to ensure proper functionality and customer satisfaction.
    • Conduct vehicle inspections and road tests where necessary to confirm that reported electrical and climate-control faults have been properly rectified.
    • Accurately record diagnostic findings, repairs, parts replaced, and service activities on job orders and workshop records.
    • Work closely with Service Advisors, Mechanical Technicians, Parts Personnel, and Workshop Supervisors to ensure efficient diagnosis and completion of repair jobs.
    • Maintain and properly use electrical diagnostic tools, A/C recovery and charging equipment, and other workshop tools and equipment.
    • Follow Toyota workshop procedures, technical service information, quality standards, and manufacturer specifications during all repair activities.
    • Observe all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements, including proper use of PPE and safe handling of refrigerants, electrical equipment, oils, and other automotive materials.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained.
    • Stay updated on Toyota electrical, electronic, hybrid, and automotive climate-control technologies through continuous technical training and professional development.

    Petrol Mechanic (Service Technician)

    Summary of Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the inspection, servicing, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of Toyota petrol vehicles in accordance with Toyota technical standards, manufacturer specifications, and workshop safety procedures.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform routine preventive maintenance services, including engine oil and filter changes, brake inspection, fluid checks, lubrication, and general vehicle servicing.
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment.
    • Inspect and repair petrol engines, transmission systems, suspension, steering, braking, cooling, and fuel systems.

    • Prepare accurate job reports and record all repairs, inspections, parts used, and service activities on job orders.
    • Maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure all completed jobs meet Toyota quality and customer service requirements.
    • Follow workshop health, safety, environmental, and housekeeping procedures, including proper use of PPE and workshop equipment.
    • Handle tools, diagnostic equipment, lifting equipment, and workshop machinery safely and responsibly.
    • Communicate identified vehicle faults, repair requirements, and technical findings to the Service Advisor or Workshop Supervisor.
    • Work effectively with other technicians, service advisors, parts personnel, and workshop supervisors to ensure timely completion of customer vehicles.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area and ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained.
    • Continuously improve technical knowledge through training, manufacturer updates, and practical experience with Toyota vehicle technologies.
