Job Description

• The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and debugging responsive web and mobile applications for the company.
• Using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, this candidate will be able to translate user and business needs into functional frontend design.

Responsibilities

• Develop new user-facing features
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object-Oriented Programming and application development
• Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science
• 2+ years' experience in frontend development
• Familiarity using Scrum/Agile development methodologies
• Experience building object-oriented web applications in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

Skills:

• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• Proficient Understanding of Javascript Frameworks such as ReactJS, Angular 4/5/6, or VueJs
• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
• Good understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS.
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GIT
• Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that the application will adhere to them.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Product Manager to conceptualise, Plan, Implement & develop new innovative technology solutions for the company her clients.
• Lead the way on project architecture and database structure while utilising best practices in performance, stability, scalability and security.
• Contribute to concept development for Digital campaigns with multidisciplinary teams of developers, creatives, and producers.
• Develop backend for in-house and clients' web applications.
• Define and implement innovative solutions for Webcoupers & our client's product direction, visuals and experiences
• Develop back-end solutions for data-driven executions in web, mobile, and emerging technology. Projects including but not limited to API development, custom content management software, front-end integration, machine learning, big data and other complex builds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science
• 2+ years' experience in frontend development
• Familiarity using Scrum/Agile development methodologies.

Skills:

• A strong understanding of the Web including HTTP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Advanced proficiency with at least one scripting language like PHP or Python. Low-level language experience a plus, but not required.
• Manage a team of ad-hoc & in-house developers, Data scientists & other departments to develop products in-house and for clients
• Work with the account services & planning team to conceptualize, Plan, Implement & develop new innovative technology solutions for Webcoupers & her clients.
• Develop back-end & front-end solutions for data-driven executions in web, mobile, and emerging technology. Projects including but not limited to API development, custom content management software, front-end integration, machine learning, big data and other complex builds.
• Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks
• The ability to iterate and ship ideas quickly, with loose (at best) direction.
• Basic knowledge of typography and design, with the ability to create simple and usable interfaces.
• Must be comfortable with customer-facing roles including support and documentation.
