    Despatch Officer

    Job Purpose:

    • To ensure prompt loading and dispatch of consumer pack products.
    • Control loaders, truck & truck driver’s activities at the loading bay.
    • Ensure loading is done in line with delivery order following FIFO system and following loading standard of “heavier weight loaded ahead of lighter weight”.
    • To achieve zero customer complaint in relation to the quality of invoicing Loading is strictly done in line with delivery order and real-time reconciliation done with forklift operators to ensure accuracy per loading.
    • To ensure there is no pending SAP transactions daily Lead entire dispatch operations through on-time docking and loading.
    • Role-model safety culture while coordinating loaders’ and operators’ activities to ensure full compliance to safety standards.
    • To strictly comply with PZ Wilmar’s EMS policy through adequate waste management (waste segregations)

    Finance Internal Controller

    Job Responsibilities

    • Providing independent review of effectiveness of risk management and control procedures across the business and to highlight observation on deviation / potential risk areas
    • Finish the review process in agreed timeline and report to management. • Apply a rigorous and efficient risk-based audit approach which delivers robust assurance on the effectiveness of risk management and control measures with Wilmar policy & process.
    • Build and manage great relationships with business partners, providing insights and challenges that enable them to proactively manage performance.
    • Perform scheduled and unscheduled (spot checks) audit visits to Stock locations / Ikorodu (KD) warehouse / market activations etc. across Nigeria

    Qualifications & Experience

    • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a minimum of a Second Class Upper division
    • Minimum 3-4 years’ experience, including in a multinational (ideally multicultural/multilingual) corporate environment, with exposure to some of the following areas:
    • Internal / external audit with detailed understanding of governance, risk management and internal controls.
    • Risk based auditing, including the ability to review core financials and business data to identify potential risks and insights.
    • In-depth understanding of business processes and systems.
    • Root cause analysis and insights generation - understanding an issue or complex problem, the key drivers behind it, and then defining an action plan to address these key drivers, finding a sustainable solution.
    • Qualified ACA/ ACCA or equivalent. Candidates with working experience in Audit / Assurance function with Big Assurance function are preferred.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels both (written and verbal).

    Laboratory Technician

    • Carry out prompt quality Control activities cutting across in-process checks, results from the laboratory and inspection of final packaging quality of finished goods.
    • Take charge of all production activity as regards quality per shift and enforces good hygiene during production. Conduct final inspection on products in store and ensure that status labels are well placed on products and materials.
    • Involve in the full coverage of the entire manufacturing processes by   monitoring and controlling of the quality of intermediates and finished products. Anchors the responsibility of ensuring that manufacturing batch records and Lot   packaging records are filled adequately to ensure complete documentation.
    • Generate routine QA compliance   shift reports and communicates all non-compliance observations and the corrective action taken in the reports as well.
    • Carry out the withdrawal of retain samples for storage to ensure representative retention of Products before the expiration of such products and ensuring full inventory of retained samples with GMP expectations on documentation.
    • Partake in all trouble shooting activities that may occur on production lines to ensure that the root cause is identified and solution found without compromising quality.

    Requirements

    Job Description

    • B.Sc. Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Science, Food Science & Technology and Laboratory Technology would be preferable.
    • Computer expertise especially in MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint.
    • 1-3 years work experience in a similar role.
    • Excellent Quantitative and Qualitative Analyses skills.
    • Candidates must possess Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Science Laboratory Technology (Electronics option) or relevant discipline from any recognized institution.
    • Candidate may be a registered member of the Nigerian Institute of Science and Technology (NIST) and have at least 3 years relevant experience.
    • A good knowledge of computer operations will be an added advantage

    Safety Officer

    Job Description

    • Conduct inspections: Safety officers regularly inspect the workplace to identify potential hazards. 
    • Train employees: Teach employees about safety protocols and the importance of health and safety
    • Monitor compliance: Ensure that the workplace complies with health and safety regulations. 
    • Investigate accidents: Investigate accidents that occur in the workplace.

    • Implementation of site and external requirements: Ensure full compliance to Site standard requirement, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirement.
    • Supporting the development of OHS policies and programs.
    • Conducting risk assessment and enforcing preventative measures.
    • Initiate and organize OHS training of employees and executives.
    • Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy.
    • Record and investigate incidents to determine causes and handle worker’s compensation claims.
    • Supporting emergency preparedness and response efforts, including developing evacuation plans and procedures.
    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to promote safety initiatives and ensure the integration of safety practices into daily operations.
    • Establishing and maintaining effective communication channels with external organisations, such as government bodies, and safety organisations.
    • Monitor contractors compliance to Company permit to work process.
    • Ensure compliance to EHS requirement for project site.
