    Deputy Station Manager

    Job Summary

    We are looking for a proactive Deputy Station Manager who will oversee the day-to-day operations of the station, ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable operations. The role involves supervising staff, maintaining operational standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing inventory, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring that the station meets its sales and operational targets.

    Key Responsibilities

    Operations Management

    • Assist in planning, coordinating, and supervising daily station operations.
    • Ensure uninterrupted product availability and efficient service delivery.
    • Monitor fuel receipt, storage, dispensing, and reconciliation.
    • Ensure proper opening and closing of station operations.
    • Supervise shift operations and ensure smooth handovers.
    • Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the station.

    Sales and Business Development

    • Support the achievement of monthly and annual sales targets.
    • Monitor daily sales performance and identify improvement opportunities.
    • Promote company products and services to customers.
    • Implement marketing and promotional initiatives.
    • Prepare daily sales reports for management.

    Inventory Management

    • Monitor stock levels of petroleum products.
    • Conduct daily stock reconciliation.
    • Coordinate stock receipt and product discharge.
    • Monitor product losses and investigate variances.
    • Ensure accurate documentation of inventory movements.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor\\\'s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration or any related course.

    Experience

    • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in downstream oil and gas operations, petroleum retail, depot operations, or a similar operational role.
