    Deputy Head of Primary

    Key Responsibilities
    Leadership and Management:

    • Shape the school's vision and direction alongside leadership.
    • Set high expectations and focus on pupil achievement.
    • Assist in setting aims, objectives, and the School Improvement Plan.
    • Develop and monitor policy and practice.
    • Support the Headteacher in school self-review and evaluation.
    • Lead in Performance Management of teaching staff.
    • Publicly support decisions of the Headteacher, Proprietress, and School Board.

    Teaching and Learning Leadership:

    • Implement Cambridge Primary and British Early Years Curriculum.
    • Lead assessment across the Primary School.
    • Hold the role of Cambridge Primary exam officer.
    • Lead teaching and learning, ensuring the highest standards of curriculum delivery.
    • Monitor and evaluate teaching quality and standards of pupil achievement.
    • Develop and review school Learning Environments.
    • Maintain awareness of individual special needs provision.

    Maintaining High Profile of the School:

    • Ensure Primary School and Sports areas demonstrate high expectations.
    • Lead parent workshops and induction meetings.
    • Organize displays, events, and extracurricular activities.

    Resourcing:

    • Ensure Primary School is well-resourced.
    • Manage equipment and resource allocation.
    • Oversee resource budget.
    • Ensure health and safety arrangements for lessons and events.

    Other Responsibilities:

    • Deputy Safeguarding Lead, ensuring robust Safeguarding practice.
    • Undertake reasonable duties as requested by the Head of Primary or Head of School.
    • Safeguard all students.

    Requirements

    • Appropriate Degree, with PGDE or equivalent.
    • Five years British or Cambridge Curriculum experience.
    • Three years leadership experience.
    • Outstanding Primary practitioner with proven impact.
    • Ability to provide effective and credible feedback.
    • Strong communication skills for diverse audiences.
    • Ability to provide Curriculum training and support.
    • Organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines.
    • High level of professionalism and consideration for the well-being of children.
    • Recent and consistent involvement in extracurricular activities.
    • Respect for all members of a school community.
    • Positive and solution-focused attitude.
    • High levels of personal integrity.
    • Acceptable police checks from relevant countries and suitable references.

    Deputy Head of Secondary

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead parent workshops and induction meetings.
    • Ensure high expectations are demonstrated in the Secondary School and Sports areas.

    Resourcing:

    • Ensure the Secondary School is well-resourced.
    • Oversee health and safety arrangements for lessons and events.

    Other Responsibilities:

    • Deputy Safeguarding Lead, ensuring robust safeguarding practice.
    • Undertake reasonable duties as requested by school leadership.
    • Ensure the safeguarding of all students.

    Requirements

    • Appropriate Degree with PGDE or equivalent.
    • Five years of British or Cambridge Curriculum experience.
    • Three years of leadership experience.
    • Outstanding Secondary practitioner with proven impact.
    • Effective communication skills and ability to provide curriculum training.
    • Organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks.

    Head of Early Years Department

    Key Responsibilities
    Teaching and Learning Leadership:

    • Implement British Early Years Provision.
    • Oversee planning and implementation for outstanding provision.
    • Develop and review Learning Environments in line with best practices.
    • Lead the delivery of Read, Write Inc in Reception classes.
    • Ensure excellence in Continuous Provision.
    • Contribute to the school's strategic vision and development plans.
    • Facilitate training and monitor learning and teaching.

    Maintaining High Profile:

    • Model excellence in Early Years teaching.
    • Ensure high expectations in Early Years and Sports areas.
    • Lead parent workshops, induction meetings, and extracurricular activities.

    Resourcing:

    • Ensure optimal resourcing for Early Years.
    • Manage resources, budgets, and health and safety arrangements.

    Other Responsibilities:

    • Uphold exemplary Safeguarding practices.
    • Undertake duties as requested by school leadership.
    • Safeguard all students.

    Requirements

    • B.Ed in Education, or a related degree with PGDE or equivalent.
    • Three years Early Years British or Cambridge Curriculum experience.
    • Outstanding practitioner with proven impact.
    • Effective communicator and trainer.
    • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
    • Involvement in extracurricular activities.
    • Respectful and solution-focused attitude.
    • High personal integrity and suitable references.
