    Credit Verification Manager

    Description

    This position will lead the Prospect Verification efforts and initiatives of MAX. Our ideal candidate will be trusted to dive right in, take the lead, use initiative, and help build strategies to aid the Growth process, through nimble verification initiatives that ensure achievement of revenue goals and targets, while minimizing our exposure and risks to non-quality ventures.

    The Verification Manager will be someone who brings a proven track record in successfully leading Background Checks and Verification Processes in established Organizations. The ideal person should be someone who has the ability to think beyond the ‘transactional’ and provide ‘big picture’/strategic thinking. This person will bring a blend of management, strategic thinking, and business growth skills.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Develop and maintain a thorough technical understanding of current verification operational systems / processes and policy requirements within MAX Operations
    • Identify, recommend and, as appropriate, oversee the implementation of continuous efficiency improvements to the verification policies and procedures.
    • Lead verification actions on fraud, waste and abuse claims and conduct internal and external Verifications concerning allegations.
    • Ensure the maintenance of a strong system of internal controls within the verification team to ensure high level of quality assurance compliance.
    • Work cooperatively with all units to meet operational and team objectives.
    • Ensure all application data is accurately verified in terms of laid down procedures and a full audit of the applications is completed to ensure internal fraud is prohibited.
    • Verify captured applications against the physical documents.
    • Ensure all Investigation, verification and research procedures are properly achieved in line with organizational work strategy
    • Carryout proper Investigation and Identify discrepancies on the application documents as well as the supporting documents.
    • Improve External Customer Experience via targeted process improvement.
    • Supervise and monitor field representatives.
    • Perform adequate Champion and Customer due diligence check as required.
    • Conduct strategic enhanced due diligence review.
    • Skillfully conduct Skip tracing to unveil false or true identity.
    • Performance of Character check and address tracing as officially required

    Requirements

    • 6+ years’ professional experience in background checks, or security teams, spy craft or other similar security-focused work.
    • 4 years of experience in leading objective investigations, especially criminal investigations will be an advantage.
    • Internal investigations and/or Verification experience within an International development organization will be an added advantage.
    • Accounting or Finance certification is preferable
    • Ability to make discretionary judgment and to manage and impart confidential information
    • Highly developed and proven communication skills; oral, written and presentation
    • Experience of running multiple projects concurrently
    • Continuous need to be flexible, adaptable and able to multitask
    • Trustworthy and absolute discretion required at all times
    • Strong problem solver, with hands-on approach to plan and execute well
    • High levels of energy and drive, willingness to work hard
    • Must have the highest level of integrity and professionalism.
    • Detail oriented, ability to work well under pressure
    • Ability to travel 30 - 50%

    Lead Conversion Manager

    Location: Lagos Mainland, Lagos

    Job Description

    • We are looking for an exceptional PCM responsible for managing all the PCAs to ensure that prospects at the top of the funnel are followed through and helped through all various steps of the Champion recruitment process.

    What You’ll Do

    • Ensure the Implementation of stated team and company strategies, goals, objectives and procedures
    • Enforce the use of appropriate methods, frameworks and channels to source for prospective drivers
    • Management of external relationships e.g. Corporatives and Transport Authorities
    • Optimize processes for effective and efficient budget use
    • Supervise and oversee the PCA team
    • Develop creative recruitment strategies, tactics, funnels and procedures, etc to attract and retain drivers
    • Ensure quick resolution of customer/driver problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction

    • Coordinate and drive sales effort with the team, drive conversion of inbound lead sales opportunities
    • Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports and communicate same with business

    • Maintain the internal candidate database (e.g. including contact information, geographical locations, and availability for new work, etc)
    • Communicate with the team to determine the effectiveness of recruitment plans and strategies
    • Research and recommend new sources for the recruitment of active and passive candidates
    • Create candidates' personas, job descriptions, related materials as well as scout and ensure the documentation of candidates accordingly
    • Build networks to find qualified candidates and promote the company
    • Review applicants to evaluate their qualifications and whether they meet requirements
    • Manage and ensure that job inquiries are responded to
    • Coordinate the assessment of candidates' background information, objectives and personality
    • Keep abreast of existing/new market practices
    • Research new ideas and anticipate future threats and opportunities
    • Analyze, identify and suggest untapped candidate pools
    • Work with asset manager to provide a consistent supply of driver capacity through contracts
    • Support in the building of a strong Riders/Driver community
    • Delegate responsibilities to ensure staff members grow as capable participants.
    • Understand recruitment and selection relatedness to workforce planning and its implications for productivity
    • Promote the company's mission and values
    • Ensure the establishment and maintenance of a pro-active human resource function to ensure employee motivation, training and development, wage and benefits administration, and compliance with established labor regulations and business culture
    • Coaching, managing, counseling, appraising and disciplining employees
    • Developing, coordinating, enforcing and supporting systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards
    • Ensure Constant update and maintenance of prospective driver candidates (successful and unsuccessful) database
    • Prepare weekly reports to the Executive on Leads generation, Pipeline data and conversion rate
    • Ensure the record of individual performance of each PCA is recorded and shared with Executive.

    Requirements
    What You’ll Need:

    • A Degree in Operations management, Supply Chain, Logistics or equivalent Degree
    • 5+ years experience in sales, logistics, operations, channel development/ recruitment, preferably in a supervisory role
    • Hands-on experience with creating effective Pipeline generation and conversion strategies.
    • Strong working knowledge of developing orientation systems and tools
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Track record of managing Partners and 3rd Party vendors for multiple clients
    • Strong knowledge of recruitment practices, metrics, and guidelines.
    • Detail oriented
    • Excellent leadership and project management skills
    • Superb sales and management skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
