Job Description

• Fabricate, and refurbish aircraft interior equipment and furnishings per work order or customer request. This may include items such as fabricating and veneering of cabinets and bulkheads, fabrication of Corian countertops
• Perform and document all work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required
• Travel for installations when required
• Perform additional work on drop-ins and planned maintenance within the facility during slow periods of unplanned work if required
• Must be able to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings.

Requirements

• Must have 5 years of interiors experience in wood finish experience
• SSCE / OND in a related field
• Have a thorough knowledge of cabinet construction, modification and assembly, and woodworking skills
• Demonstrate the ability to break down cabinets remove hardware, inlay, etc.
• Have the ability to apply veneers and laminates
• Have knowledge in the fabrication of Coran Countertops
• Ability to interpret and work with drawings
• Ability to communicate in both written and verbal form

Job Description

• Formulate and set quality policies according to global furniture quality standards and legal regulations for quality control function
• Manage manufacturing quality: process audit, product audit, developing and updating inspection working instructions and control plans, quality awareness training, process non-conformity goods disposal, etc;
• Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards
• Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes
• Approve the right products or reject defectives
• Solicit feedback from customers via the front desk to assess whether their requirements are met
• Monitor the verification and follow-up of quality issues occurring at the production line and customer sites, ensuring all open issues can be closed in a timely manner.

Requirements

• B.Sc in an Engineering Course
• Minimum of 5 Years in the Furniture Industry.
• Must have deep furniture knowledge with a QC achievement record.
