    Compliance Executive

    Job Summary

    • The ideal candidate will play a key role in safeguarding operational integrity, strengthening internal controls, and ensuring that the business consistently operates within approved guidelines and standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Monitor company activities to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
    • Conduct routine compliance checks, audits, and risk assessments, highlighting gaps and recommending corrective actions.
    • Follows up with statutory bodies on requirements and renewal of registrations documents.
    • Ensuring that all procurement process and compliant documentations (IRR, CAC, Tax Returns etc.) are up to date.
    • Inform management on update requirements, payment of annual fees and all statutory changes.
    • Assist in reviewing contracts, proposals, and operational processes to ensure regulatory alignment before approval.
    • Draft, update, and implement compliance frameworks and operating procedures.
    • Prepare and submit compliance reports, documentation, and regulatory filings within stipulated timelines.
    • Investigate incidents of non-compliance and escalate findings where necessary.
    • Keep abreast of changes in laws, regulations, and best practices relevant to the organisation.
    • Maintain accurate compliance records, logs, and documentation for audits and regulatory inspections.
    • Support the development and implementation of risk mitigation plans across business units.
    • Liaise with external auditors, regulators, and stakeholders during inspections or information requests.
    • Track and report compliance trends, highlighting recurring issues and recommending long-term solutions.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration or a related field with 5 years experience.
    • Prior experience in Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Audit, or related functions.
    • Strong analytical and reporting skills with excellent attention to detail.
    • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and sound judgement.
    • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams status.

    Renumeration Package
    NGN300,000 - NGN350,000 / Month.
