    Commercial Diving Expert

    Job Summary

    • The Commercial Diving Expert is responsible for executing underwater inspection, maintenance, repair, installation, and recovery operations in accordance with approved diving procedures, client specifications, and international diving standards.
    • The role ensures all diving activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory, quality, and HSE requirements.

    Key Responsibilities
    Diving Operations

    • Perform commercial diving operations in offshore, nearshore, inland water, and swamp environments.
    • Execute underwater inspection, maintenance, repair, installation, and construction support activities.
    • Conduct underwater cleaning, marine growth removal, and structural inspections.
    • Carry out underwater welding, burning, cutting, and light construction activities where certified.
    • Install, recover, and inspect subsea equipment, pipelines, risers, mooring systems, and underwater structures.
    • Assist in salvage, recovery, and emergency underwater operations when required.
    • Perform underwater measurements, photography, and video documentation.

    Safety & Compliance:

    • Comply with all approved diving procedures, permit-to-work systems, and risk assessments.
    • Conduct pre-dive equipment inspections and safety checks.
    • Ensure diving equipment is maintained in good working condition.
    • Report unsafe conditions, equipment defects, and incidents immediately.
    • Participate in emergency drills and contingency response exercises.
    • Adhere to company HSE policies and international commercial diving standards.

    Equipment & Maintenance:

    • Inspect and maintain diving equipment before and after operations.
    • Ensure proper care of helmets, umbilicals, communication systems, compressors, chambers, and associated equipment.
    • Assist in equipment mobilization and demobilization.

    Documentation:

    • Maintain accurate dive logs and operational records.
    • Record dive times, depths, tasks performed, and observations.
    • Prepare reports on completed underwater activities.
    • Support the Diving Supervisor in maintaining project documentation.

    Team Collaboration:

    • Work closely with Diving Supervisors, Dive Tenders, ROV personnel, marine crews, engineers, and client representatives.
    • Participate in toolbox talks, pre-job briefings, and post-job reviews.
    • Mentor junior divers where required.

    Qualifications

    • Diploma, HND, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Marine Technology, or a related discipline (preferred).
    • Minimum of 5 years of commercial diving experience in the oil and gas or marine industry.
    • Demonstrated experience in offshore, subsea, or inland water diving operations.

    Mandatory Certifications:

    • Recognized Commercial Diver Certification (e.g., IMCA, ADCI, HSE, or equivalent).
    • Valid Diving Medical Certificate.
    • BOSIET with CA-EBS or FOET (where applicable).
    • Valid Offshore Medical Certificate.
    • Basic First Aid/CPR.
    • HSE Level 1, 2, or 3 (as applicable).

    Preferred Certifications:

    • IMCA Air Diver Certification.
    • Underwater Welding Certification.
    • NDT Inspection Certification (advantage).
    • Rigging and Lifting Certification.
    • Confined Space Entry.
    • HUET.

    Technical Competencies:

    • Surface-supplied air diving.
    • Underwater inspection and survey.
    • Subsea construction support.
    • Underwater maintenance and repair.

    Anti-Corrosion Coating Protection Supervisor

    Job Summary

    • The Anti-Corrosion Coating Protection Supervisor is responsible for planning, supervising, and ensuring the proper execution of anti-corrosion coating activities on pipelines, flowlines, facilities, tanks, and associated infrastructure in swamp and land environments.
    • The role ensures all surface preparation, coating application, inspection, and quality control activities are carried out in accordance with approved project specifications, client requirements, international standards, and HSE regulations.

    Key Responsibilities
    Project Execution:

    • Supervise all anti-corrosion coating activities on pipelines, flowlines, structures, tanks, and process equipment.
    • Coordinate surface preparation, abrasive blasting, coating application, curing, and inspection activities.
    • Ensure coating works comply with project specifications, approved procedures, and client requirements.
    • Plan daily work activities and allocate manpower, equipment, and materials effectively.
    • Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed within schedule and budget.

    Quality Assurance & Control:

    • Verify surface preparation meets the required cleanliness and profile standards before coating.
    • Ensure proper paint mixing, environmental monitoring, coating thickness measurements, and curing requirements.
    • Conduct routine inspections throughout the coating process.
    • Review inspection reports and ensure corrective actions are implemented where necessary.
    • Ensure compliance with applicable standards including SSPC, NACE/AMPP, ISO, and client specifications.

    HSE Compliance:

    • Promote and enforce compliance with company HSE policies and procedures.
    • Conduct toolbox talks and pre-job risk assessments.
    • Ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of coating materials and chemicals.
    • Monitor the use of appropriate PPE by all personnel.
    • Ensure environmental protection measures are implemented during project execution, particularly in swamp environments.

    Documentation & Reporting:

    • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports.
    • Maintain coating inspection records and quality documentation.
    • Report project challenges, delays, and corrective actions to management.
    • Assist in compiling project completion dossiers and handover documentation.

    Team Leadership:

    • Supervise coating technicians, painters, blasters, inspectors, and subcontractors.
    • Provide technical guidance and ensure adherence to approved work procedures.
    • Monitor workforce productivity and performance.
    • Coordinate with QA/QC, HSE, Client Representatives, and Project Engineers.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience supervising industrial anti-corrosion coating projects in the oil and gas sector.
    • Experience working in swamp and land pipeline environments is mandatory.

    Professional Certifications:

    • NACE/AMPP Coating Inspector Program (CIP) Level 2 or equivalent (Mandatory)
    • SSPC Protective Coatings Certification (Added Advantage)
    • BOSIET, HUET, or CA-EBS (where applicable)
    • Valid HSE Certification
    • First Aid Certification (Added Advantage)

    Technical Competencies:

    • Surface preparation and abrasive blasting.

    HVAC Technician & Installer

    Description

    • The HVAC Technician & Installer is responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems in commercial, industrial, and oil & gas facilities.
    • The role ensures HVAC systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, manufacturer recommendations, and HSE requirements.

    Key Responsibilities
    Installation & Commissioning:

    • Install HVAC equipment, including split units, package units, VRF/VRV systems, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, ductwork, ventilation systems, and exhaust systems.
    • Install refrigerant piping, condensate drains, insulation, and associated HVAC accessories.
    • Carry out pressure testing, vacuuming, refrigerant charging, and system commissioning.
    • Interpret engineering drawings, layouts, and technical specifications to ensure accurate installation.
    • Ensure installations comply with project requirements, relevant standards, and manufacturer guidelines.

    Maintenance & Repairs:

    • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems.
    • Diagnose and repair faults in compressors, motors, thermostats, electrical controls, fans, pumps, and refrigeration systems.
    • Replace defective components and ensure systems are restored to optimal performance.
    • Conduct routine inspections and performance testing to identify potential issues.

    Troubleshooting:

    • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration faults.
    • Use testing instruments to identify system failures and implement corrective actions.
    • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests.

    Health, Safety & Compliance:

    • Adhere to company HSE policies and permit-to-work procedures.
    • Ensure safe handling and disposal of refrigerants and other hazardous materials.
    • Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
    • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

    Documentation & Reporting:

    • Maintain maintenance logs, inspection reports, and service records.

    • Assist in preparing work completion reports.

    Teamwork:

    • Work collaboratively with engineers, electricians, facility personnel, and project teams.

    • Mentor junior technicians and apprentices where required.

    Qualifications

    • National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), Trade Test, or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or a related field.
    • 3–5 years' experience in HVAC installation and maintenance, preferably within commercial, industrial, or oil & gas environments.

    Professional Certifications:

    • HVAC/Refrigeration Certification from a recognized institution.
    • Trade Test Certificate (Grade I, II, or III) is an advantage.
    • Valid HSE Level 1, 2, or 3 Certification.
    • Manufacturer training/certification (e.g., Daikin, Carrier, Trane, York, LG, Mitsubishi Electric) is an added advantage.
    • First Aid Certification (preferred).

    Technical Competencies:

    • Installation and commissioning of HVAC systems.
    • Refrigeration systems and refrigerant handling.
    • Air balancing and ventilation systems.
    • Electrical wiring and HVAC control systems.
    • Preventive and corrective maintenance.
