    College Librarian

    Job Summary

    • The College Librarian is responsible to the Provost for administration of the College Library and Co-ordination of library services in the teaching unit of the College and shall hold office for a single tenure of five (5) years with effect from the date of appointment and on such terms and conditions as may be specified in the letter of appointment.

    Requirements

    • A good Bachelor’s Degree with Master's Degree in Library Science (MLS) from a recognized institution of higher learning with at least 15 years cognate experience and registration with Professional Library body or a PhD in Library and Information Science with at least 12 years cognate experience with evidence of registration with a professional Library body.
    • Proficiency in Information Communication Technology (ICT)
    • Present evidence of sound human relations, Professional competence, integrity, efficiency and management of human and material resources.
    • Must be a Chief Librarian or Deputy College Librarian for a period that is not less than five (5) years in a College of Education system.
    • Successful candidate must not be above the age of fifty-nine (59) years of age at the time of taking up the appointment.
    • Candidate must show evidence of substantial contribution to knowledge through research and scholarly publications in reputable journals equivalent to that of Chief Lecturer.

    Terms of Appointment and Conditions of Service

    • All the appointments are for a single term of five (5) years in line with extant provisions.
    • The salary is consolidated and the appointee shall enjoy any other benefits attached to the position of Principal Officer of the College as approved by the Federal Government.

    College Bursar

    Job Summary

    • The Bursar shall be the Chief Financial Officer of the College and is responsible to the Provost for the day-to-day administration and control of financial affairs of the College.
    • He/She shall hold office for a single tenure of five (5) years with effect from the date of appointment and on such terms and conditions as may be specified in the letter of appointment.

    Requirements

    • A good honours Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) or its equivalent in Accountancy or Finance from a recognized Institution of higher learning;
    • Must possess a recognized Master's Degree from a recognized Institution of higher learning with at least 18 years’ cognate work experience. Possession of a Doctoral degree is an added advantage.
    • Must have been a Deputy Bursar on CONTEDISS 15
    • Evidence of continuous professional development.
    • Proficiency in Information Communication Technology (ICT).
    • Evidence of membership of a recognized professional body in relevant field.
    • Successful candidate must not be above the age of fifty-nine (59) years of age at the time of taking up the appointment.

    Provost

    Job Summary

    • The Provost is the Chief Accounting Officer of the College who is responsible for the day-to-day running of the affairs of the College.
    • He/She is one who will provide academic and professional administrative leadership in the execution of policies laid down by the Governing Council as enshrined in the Colleges
    • He/She is to maintain discipline and cater for the welfare and interest of all Staff and Students of the College as well as perform such other functions conferred upon him by the edicts establishing the College.

    Requirements

    • Candidate should possess a Doctorate degree (PhD) from a recognized university in a field relevant to at least one programme in the College.
    • He/she should be a registered and active member of a Professional Association in the field of Education
    • Possession of professional Teaching qualification, a minimum of Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) or Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PDGE), in addition to registration as a Professional Teacher with TRCN are mandatory.
    • Candidate must not be above the age of fifty-nine (59) years at the time of taking up the appointment.
    • Candidate must possess a minimum of fifteen (15) years post qualification teaching/research experience in a College of Education system and in addition, must have held a senior teaching/research and top administrative post in a College of Education system as evidence of ability to manage human and material resources.
    • Candidate must show evidence of good track record in result-oriented researches reaching high National and International status in his/her research achievements, as evidence of scholarly publications.
    • Candidate must be a Chief Lecturer with at least five (5) years cognate experience.
    • Candidate must be of good conduct and character, possess sense of discipline, dedication, drive and resourcefulness and be able to command the respect and loyalty of members of staff and students of the College. He/she must be somebody who is not likely to foster personal, social, ethnic, political, religious and other sectional interests.
    • Candidate must be proficient in Information Communication Technology packages and capacities.
    • Evidence of Community Service both local and National Development,
    • Candidate must be a woman/man of vision, a goal getter, and one that can execute a strategic plan for the College.

    Registrar

    Job Summary

    • The Registrar who is one of the principal officers of the College, shall hold office for a single tenure of five (5) years with effect from the date of appointment and on such terms and conditions as may be specified in the letter of appointment.

    Job Description

    • The Registrar shall be the Chief Administrative of the College and responsible to the Provost for the day-to-day administrative work of the College.
    • He shall keep all records of staff and students.
    • Conduct and receive all correspondence of Council and Management.
    • Perform any other function which the Council or Provost may direct. 
    • Functions as Secretary to the Governing council, Academic board, Congregation and other Statutory Committees.

    Requirements

    Candidates Must:

    • A good honours degree in any of the Social Sciences/Art Subjects from any recognized Institution of higher learning.
    • Must possess relevant Master's degree from a recognized Institution of higher learning with at least 18 years cognate work experience. Possession of a Doctoral degree is an added advantage.
