    Chief of Staff

    Job Summary  

    •  Are you a strategic leader adept at orchestrating complex operations across diverse product lines? As the Chief of Staff, you will partner closely with the CEO and executive team, driving cohesion and efficiency across our core products. In this role, you will ensure strategic alignment, streamline operations, and facilitate effective communication across all business units, propelling Sabi's mission to empower commerce throughout Africa. 
    • This role is ideal for a leader who enjoys tracking progress, escalate blockers, and driving alignment between the CEO, Product GMs, and cross-functional teams on priorities and execution rhythms. 

      What you will be doing  

    • Lead and manage the strategic and operational planning cycles across all products 
    • Own the design and facilitation of leadership meetings, quarterly business reviews, and cross-product initiatives. 
    • Translate CEO and executive priorities into clear operational roadmaps and execution plans. 
    • Track progress against OKRs and business goals; identify and escalate blockers proactively. 
    • Coordinate multi-functional and multi-product initiatives to ensure alignment, accountability, and velocity. 
    • Serve as a trusted advisor and sounding board to the CEO; provide leverage by driving forward key internal and external initiatives. 
    • Prepare investor decks, board materials, and internal strategy documents. 
    • Run internal routies like all-hands meetings, leadership offsites, and communications cadences that promote alignment and transparency

    Requirements

     Special Skills and Qualifications 

    • 12+ years of experience in strategic operations, consulting, high-growth startups, or product/GM-level roles. 
    • Prior experience as a Chief of Staff or direct advisor to a CEO or executive leadership team is highly preferred. 
    • Proven ability to drive complex projects across multiple functions and business units. 
    • Able to operate independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. 
    • Demonstrated ability to synthesize data and insights to inform business decisions. 
    • Experience working across digital products or platforms in emerging markets is a plus.
    • Passion for building systems that scale and a commitment to Sabi’s mission of empowering commerce in Africa.

    Managing Director (Katsu MFB)

    Job Summary

    • Are you a strategic operator who leads with purpose, financial discipline, and a bias for execution? Katsu MFB is looking for a visionary and mission-driven Managing Director to lead our Microfinance Bank into its next phase of inclusive growth. The Managing Director will be responsible for developing and executing the bank’s strategic vision, driving profitability, fostering innovation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks, ensuring it remains competitive, innovative, and scalable. You will oversee business growth, digital transformation, risk management, and operational excellence while leading a high-performing team.
    • This role is ideal for a seasoned banking professional with a deep understanding of microfinance, commercial banking, and business development. The ideal candidate should be technologically savvy, commercially astute, and capable of driving innovative financial solutions.

    What you will be doing

    • Lead the bank’s multi-branch operating model, ensuring cohesion between strategic intent and execution across credit, savings, digital channels, compliance, and customer operations.
    • Drive day-to-day performance across the value chain—from loan origination and recovery to customer service, field operations, and internal controls.
    • Design and implement operational systems that support high-growth scale while tightly managing cost, risk, and portfolio quality.
    • Oversee regional and branch operations, setting KPIs, SLAs, and governance cadences across all business units and locations.

    Special Skills and Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred
    • 10+ years of experience in banking and financial technology services, with a strong background in microfinance, commercial banking, or retail banking with 7years in a leadership position.
    • A track record of driving business growth, financial performance, and digital transformation
    • Deep knowledge of microfinance banking models, SME lending, financial inclusion, and digital banking.
    • Prior leadership experience in an executive management level within a regulated financial institution.
    • Experience in credit risk management, loan portfolio management, and operational risk mitigation.
      Strong understanding of CBN regulations, licensing requirements, and financial compliance standards.
