    Chaplain

    Job Summary 

    • The Office of the Chaplain (the Spiritual and Administrative Head of the Chapel) will fall vacant by midnight of December 31, 2026.
    • The Chapel hereby calls for applications from suitably qualified candidates within the Christian Council of Nigeria (CCN) who align with the Liturgy of the Chapel to fill the soon-to-be vacant position of Chaplain in the Chapel.

    Key Responsibilities
    The Chaplain will:

    • Provide spiritual leadership within the Chapel.
    • Organize and oversee divine services and other Chapel activities.
    • Manage the day-to-day administration of the Chapel.
    • Coordinate the activities of the clergy within the Chapel.
    • Engage and collaborate with other clergy and Christian organizations that align with the Chapel’s mission and vision.

    Qualifications
    Personal Attributes:

    • Must be born-again, baptized in the Holy Ghost, and demonstrate evidence of spiritual gifts.
    • Must be of good character and exhibit high integrity.

    Education & Training:

    • Minimum of a good first degree from a recognized university; a postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline is an advantage.
    • Training from a recognized School of Theology or Seminary.
    • Computer literate.
    • Ordained Priest/Minister within a denomination of the CCN that shares the Chapel’s liturgy.
    • Minimum of 10 years post-ordination experience.

    Other Requirements:

    • Age between 40 and 55 years at the time of appointment.
    • Must be happily married, with a spouse willing to reside in the Chapel residence.

    Tenure:

    • Initial appointment: 4 years, renewable for an additional 4 years (maximum tenure: 8 years).
