    Legal Officer/ Secretary

    BUDGET: 250,000

    Our client, a leading organization specializing in oil field engineering and logistics solutions is seeking a qualified candidate for the above role.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:.

    • Manage legal documentation, contracts, and agreements related to oil field engineering projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations and company policies.
    • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and interpreting legal documents, including contracts, leases, and agreements.
    • Conduct legal research and analysis to support decision-making and provide relevant legal advice to internal teams.
    • Maintain and organize legal databases, records, and files.
    • Coordinate and schedule legal meetings, hearings, and appointments.
    • Act as a liaison between legal counsel, clients, and internal departments, facilitating communication and ensuring timely responses.
    • Handle general administrative tasks, including answering calls, managing correspondence, and organizing office operations.
    • Provide administrative support to legal team members and assist in preparing reports and presentations.

    REQUIREMENT

    • Bachelor’s degree in law
    • Minimum of 2 years proven experience as a legal officer
    • Must be a single female
    • Must be from the EAST OR SOUTH
    • Strong knowledge of legal procedures, contracts, and regulations in the oil field engineering sector.
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail.
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and legal research databases.
    • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

    Human Resource Officer

    Responsibility

    The Human Resource officer amongst other duties, will be able to:

    • Develop and implement human resources policies, procedures, and programs in line with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
    • Coordinate the recruitment and selection process, including job posting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
    • Develop and deliver employee training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
    • Administer employee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring fairness, competitiveness, and compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
    • Manage employee health and safety initiatives, including coordinating training programs and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
    • Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in human resources management, proactively recommending improvements and innovative approaches.
    • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organizations objectives.
    • Oversee employee relations, addressing and resolving employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary issues in a fair and consistent manner.
    • Develop and implement performance management systems, including performance appraisals, goal setting, and career development plans.
    • Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations, including maintaining accurate employee records, managing employee contracts, and handling work permits and visas.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • 4+ years of experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and training and development preferably with in the real estate industry.
    • Familiarity with of Nigeria labour laws and regulations.
    • Proficiency in HRIS software and other relevant HR tools.
    • Professional certification in Human Resources Management (e.g., CIPM, HRCI) is a plus.
    • The preferred age is 30-40 years and a Christian background too.
