    Trade Supervisors

    Who we want?

    We are looking for self-driven, highly motivated leaders who are passionate about managing teams and trade effectively. Trade Supervisors act as facilitators for their teams and retailers and are responsible for enabling their teams to build long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with their retailers. They must have a strong understanding of trade fundamentals and are passionate about people development.

    You will be responsible for:

    • Managing a team of trade executives to achieve (and exceed) business objectives
    • Enabling team to build and manage long term relationship with retail customers
    • Coaching team to translate relationship into business growth for retailer and TradeDepot
    • Championing the adoption of TradeDepots’ ShopTopUp platform to maximise business opportunities.
    • Proactively coordinating with various internal functions to ensure excellent service delivery.
    • Ensuring the development and activation of new customers by trade executives through effective service presentation.
    • Conducting regular retailer visits with trade executives through on-job training
    • Utilising on-job training process to enable team towards improved on-field execution
    • Driving key performance indicators as per company objectives for trade management
    • Cascading monthly, weekly and daily KPIs and targets to the team
    • Day-to-day performance review for gap identification up to customer level and devise specific action plan for each trade executive and market.

     Ideal Profile

    • You have at least 2-years’ experience managing a field team in a distribution/FMCG company
    • At least 2-years’ trading experience in a distribution/FMCG company
    • Excellent leadership skills and passionate about managing and developing teams
    • Strong analytical skills with clear understanding of trade key performance indicators
    • Ability to manage and influence internal and external stakeholders
    • Goal-oriented with ability to prioritise and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously
    • Demonstrate ability to strategically assess market situations and develop initiatives for sustainable business growth.
    • Customer service mindset with solution oriented approach
    • Flexibility and adaptability to evolving business needs
    • Effective presentation and communication skills
    • Understanding of Route to Market strategies, Implementation plans and trends in the retail industry
    • Influence stakeholders across the value chain for effective operational execution for managing customers efficiently

    Trade Finance Supervisor

    Who are we?

    Responsibilities

    • Trading Working Capital Management: Manage and be accountable for TradeDepot's trading capital in the Distribution Center (DC) by ensuring that the Working Capital is used for inventory financing.
    • Accounts Receivable Management: Manage the agreed SLA on AR for DSRs by ensuring that all outstanding sales proceeds are deposited same day of load-out.
    • Accounts Payable Management: Manage the agreed SLA on AP for suppliers by tracking and ensuring the DCs Working Capital paid in advance is not tied down with the supplier longer than is necessary.
    • Financial Reporting & Core Accounting: Manage all TradeDepot commerce accounting operations which include: real-time reporting of key financial metrics, daily posting of transactions, Inventory Accounting, Revenue Recognition, Bank reconciliation and preparation of financial reports for the Distribution Centre.
    • Finance Operations: Drive finance alignment with commercial and operations teams to support realization of business and operational objectives and key results.

    Requirements

    • Degree in Finance / Economics.
    • 3 - 5 years of in Trade Finance within a FMCG Distribution trading company or a bank in a reputable commercial bank.
    • Data-driven decision mentality and sound business judgment through strong analytical thinking.
    • Creative solutions driven mindset.
    • You should have high attention to details and the ability to multi-task.

    Credit Recovery Lead

    Who we want:

    We are looking for a highly skilled leader with proven experience in credit risk and recovery, to leverage data and technology to drive optimum performance of our loan portfolio.

    This role is ideal for someone who has the right mix of leadership, passion, energy and experience. You arenan analytical thinker, with super high attention to detail, skilled at data analytics, and has proven to be a winner at retail/SME credit collections and recovery. 

    You will have primary responsibility for leading collections and recovery for the division, recovery reporting, driving the collections activities proactively.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop industry level recovery according to the standard of best practices obtainable in the lending industry.
    • Build and manage team of collections & recovery staff; combining online and field channels.
    • Adhere to and maintain KPIs for PAR, Default/NPLs set by the business.
    • Develop and maintain projections for cohort performance and trigger failsafes to prevent delinquents from piling up.
    • Own, maintain, and report to key management on outstanding portfolio on a regular basis.
    • Oversee activities of recovery field team to meet daily targets of Collections.
    • Work with Operations and other sub-teams in Risk to continually collect data required for collections activities.
    • Perform deep data analysis on the loan portfolio to guide the setting of priorities in terms of Collections and Recovery efforts.
    • Establish, achieve, and report on recovery milestones frequently to the executive management team and the board.

    Requirements

    • University degree, preferably an MBA or Accounting, Finance degree
    • Prior experience in credit recovery in banking or established fin-techs. 
    • Excellent Data Analysis skills; extremely proficient with Business Intelligence tools e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Domo, etc.
    • Ability to work strategically, but also hands-on problem solving.
    • Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English.
    • Track record of building innovative, creative, and collaborative teams.
    • Strong desire to lead from a strategic and tactical perspective in all aspects of day to day company operations.
