YOU WILL HAVE: 

• TFA Experience in Combined Cycle Steam and some Gas Turbines preferable GE
• An Engineering Degree 

CONDITIONS: 

• Duration 60 hours a week for 4 to 6 month contract
• Hourly rate $60 to $80hr (based on experience
• All expenses paid by client (housing, food and travel) , no PD
• Rotation 10 weeks on 2 weeks off
• Remote location 2 hours drive from Lagos, Nigeria 

SOW 

• A Power plant in Nigeria has been fully commissioned 12 months ago, but now has fallen into disrepair.
• Presently there are 2 blocks consisting on each block of 2 x GT and 1 x ST. The GTs are fine, the ST is where the issues are and need fixing to become operational. The units are GE and the accompanying equipment is Chinese steam.  Each block produces 370 MW to a total of 750MW
• You will be working with a team of 6 x Engineers.
• Must have passport and engineering degree, starts asap.

This is an expat position, offering and excellent NET package, working on a 6/2 rotation

As an Engineering Manager you be responsible for planning, managing and overseeing the Engineering Department.

Responsibilities of the Engineering Manager include;

• Planning and strategising engineering requirements for the engineering division, as well as individual projects
• Providing technical leadership to the engineering department
• Ensuring technical integrity and quality is maintained at all times
• Ensuring engineering deliverables comply with industry standards, company standards and are HSE compliant

To fulfil this role you must have experience in the following areas;

• Previous experience managing large engineering teams of multi-disciplined engineers
• The ability to prioritise workloads and make strategic decisions
