    Human Resources & Administrative Manager

     To: Managing Director / Head of Operations  
    Industry: Manufacturing / Services

    Job Summary:

    Our Client, a Manufacturing Company is seeking a highly organized and experienced HR & Administrative Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and administrative operations. The ideal candidate will provide strategic HR leadership while ensuring efficient administrative support that aligns with the organization’s goals and culture.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Human Resources:

    • Lead and manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and orientation processes.
    • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with business objectives.
    • Manage performance management systems and staff appraisal processes.
    • Oversee employee relations, grievance handling, and disciplinary procedures.
    • Monitor and ensure compliance with labor laws and HR best practices.
    • Drive training, development, and capacity-building initiatives.
    • ⁠Maintain and update employee records, HR reports, and payroll support documentation.

    Administration:

    • Manage general office administration, facility management, and procurement processes.
    • Supervise support staff (cleaners, drivers, security, etc.) to ensure smooth operations.
    • Oversee company assets, logistics, and vendor relationships.
    • Maintain effective filing systems and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
    • Coordinate company meetings, events, and internal communications.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Professional certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, HRCI) is an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 5–7 years relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
    • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws, HR practices, and payroll systems.
    • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
    • Proficient in MS Office and HR software/tools (e.g., BambooHR, HRIS systems).
    • High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.

    Accountant (Manufacturing Sector)

    Reports To: Finance Manager / Head of Finance  
    Industry: Manufacturing

    Job Summary:

    Our Client, a Manufacturing Company is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with a strong background in the manufacturing industry to manage financial records, cost accounting, inventory control, and financial reporting.

    The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with factory operations, costing systems, and compliance within a manufacturing environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain accurate general ledger and financial records in line with accounting standards.
    • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
    • Handle cost accounting functions including Bill of Materials (BOM), product costing, and variance analysis.
    • Monitor raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods inventory with proper reconciliations.
    • Support budgeting and forecasting processes and analyze variances.
    • Ensure timely remittance of statutory deductions (VAT, WHT, PAYE, etc.).
    • ⁠Liaise with internal and external auditors and regulatory bodies.
    • Implement and maintain internal controls within the accounting and inventory processes.
    • Collaborate with the production and procurement teams for cost efficiency and reporting.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) is preferred.
    • Minimum of 3–5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
    • Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and manufacturing financial practices.
    • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, SAP).
    • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
    • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
