    Business Development Officer

    Job Responsibilities

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners.
    • Develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies.
    • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform sales tactics.
    • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (technical, logistics, finance) to ensure client satisfaction.

    Job Requirements

    • Strong knowledge of engineering components and technical solutions.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
    • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.

    Plant Fleet Officer

    Job Responsibilities

    • Monitor daily usage and performance of plant vehicles and equipment
    • Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance and repairs
    • Maintain accurate vehicle logs, fuel usage records, and service history
    • Ensure fleet complies with regulatory standards (FRSC, VIO, insurance, etc.)
    • Track vehicle licenses, insurance, inspection certificates, and renewals
    • Liaise with external service providers and workshops
    • Monitor and control fleet operating costs
    • Maintain inventory of plant mobile and fixed assets
    • Use fleet management tools/software for tracking and reporting
    • Coordinate fleet deployment with logistics, production, and procurement teams
    • Train drivers/operators on fleet policies and safety standards
    • Report fleet issues promptly to management

    Requirements

    • HND / BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Transport Management, or related field
    • 3–4 years experience in fleet or transport operations
    • Knowledge of vehicle mechanics and servicing schedules
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or fleet management software
    • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
    • Proximity to Agbara is important

    In-plant Fleet Executive

    Job Responsibilities

    • Manage fleet operations by scheduling vehicles and drivers, ensuring timely deliveries, and optimizing route efficiency.
    • Coordinate vehicle maintenance by planning regular servicing, overseeing repairs, and maintaining roadworthiness across all fleet assets.
    • Ensure regulatory compliance with transport laws, licenses, insurance, and safety standards, keeping all documentation up to date.
    • Supervise and support drivers, including recruitment, performance monitoring, shift planning, and enforcing safety protocols.
    • Control operational costs by monitoring fuel usage, tracking expenses, and improving vehicle utilization to reduce waste.
    • Generate fleet performance reports and analyze data to recommend improvements in efficiency, cost savings, and asset management.

    Job Requirements

    • Minimum of a First Degree in Supply Chain Management,Transport / Logistics,Computer Science, Information Technology or any related discipline.
    • 3 – 5 years of experience required.
    • Proven experience in vehiclet racking.
    • Experiential knowledge of the transportation and haulage industries would be an added advantage.
