Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to drive business growth and profitability.
Preparation of the annual financial statements and coordination of the statutory annual audits with the appointed auditors.
Manage the company's financial planning and budgeting process, including revenue projections, expense forecasts, and capital expenditure planning.
Manage treasury and payment processing activities.
Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and provide regular reports and analysis to senior management.
Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
Develop a risk management framework and a system of internal controls to identify significant risks, implement preventive measures, detect and prevent frauds, enhance overall financial integrity of the company
Manage cash flow, liquidity, and investment activities to optimize financial resources and maximize returns.
Collaborate with other departments to support strategic initiatives and business development efforts.
Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and development opportunities to foster a high-performing culture.
Conduct financial risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard company assets and interests.
Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and best practices in finance and accounting.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA). MBA is a plus.
Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership position.
Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations, with experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present financial information to stakeholders at all levels.
Proven leadership abilities with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Experience in the fintech industry or related field is preferred.
