    Business Development Manager

    Job Summary

    • We are looking to hire local business development managers to join our team to support expansion in the power supply and LNG market.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Assist in developing the electricity and LNG market in the Ogun, Oyo and Lagos states; especially along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Lekki and the Lekki Free Trade Zone areas.
    • Engage with local customers, collect market information.
    • Help arrange site visits, prepare materials, make presentations and follow up on client needs.
    • Develop business/market and source for customer’s especially local and international businesses and industries.
    • Prepare PPAs and business proposals that suit customer needs.
    • Research and development.

    Requirements

    • Applicants must possess minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and industry background
    • At least 2-3 years sales/business development experience in the manufacturing, banking, power/energy or trade sector
    • Experience in the electricity or gas sales industry or former employment in Nigerian state-owned enterprises (e.g., EKO Electricity, Lagos State Power Authority) will be an added advantage
    • Male, aged between 30-40 years
    • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive will be an added advantage
    • Responsible, reliable, and a good team player with strong communication skills

    Additional Notes:

    • Immediate onboarding preferred
    • Applicants must be willing to work at any of our power stations within Lagos and Ogun state.

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Salary: N400,000 – N800,000 Gross, depending on relevant industry experience
    • Free accommodation provided
    • 6 working days per week
    • Training and guidance will be provided
    • Bonus, allowances and sales commissions on business conversions.

    Finance Manager

    Location: Lagos - Ibadan Expressway, Lagos

    Job Responsibilities

    • Ensure the effective running of day-to-day activities of the Accounts/finance department
    • Managing and overseeing the company’s financial systems
    • Managing the financial reporting for the organization. This includes monthly financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and all statutory financial reporting
    • Ensure that financial reports comply with the International Financial reporting standard (IFRS)
    • Providing sound financial support and insights to enable the organization to make critical business decisions
    • Review and monitoring of operation expenses
    • Presentation of financial results and insights
    • Handling tax matters, tax planning and other regulatory compliance
    • Managing the External Auditor relationship and ensuring the organization is compliant with accounting standards
    • Managing and overseeing the company’s banking and borrowing arrangements
    • Overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, Financial and Management Accounting functions
    • Advising and implementing best practice methods to increase revenue and reduce costs
    • Managing and tracking budget and performance review
    • Reviewing all formal finance policies and procedures
    • Manage relationships with regulatory and statutory bodies, i.e. LIRS, FIRS, etc.
    • Keeping abreast of new development in reporting, tax and other regulatory requirement to ensure compliance

    Qualifications and Key Requirements

    • BSC/HND in Accounting or business-related field. Professional qualification (ACA/ACCA) will be of added advantage
    • Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience
    • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office (word, excel, PowerPoint) and accounting software such as QuickBooks etc.
    • Experience in power/energy/oil and gas industry is essential
    • Good knowledge of treasury functions, forex management, letter of credit is required
    • Must be conversant with domestic and international accounting reporting requirement
    • Must be conversant with relevant tax law and principles
    • Ability to work independently without supervision
    • Passionate about work and willing to learn

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Salary: N700,000 - N1,000,000 Monthly, depending on relevant industry experience.

    Salary

    • Monthly Basic Pay N100,000

    Plus Commission:

    • 50,000 extra for each school that signs up and 200,000 for 4 Schools.
    • Bonus on invoices paid through the platform for up to 2 academic sessions
