    Business Development Executive

    Job Purpose

    The Business Development Officer will be responsible for driving client acquisition, relationship management, and revenue growth for the bank. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, deepening existing client relationships, and promoting the bank’s products and services to achieve set targets.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients for the bank across target sectors.
    • Develop and execute strategies to grow the bank’s deposit base, loan portfolio, and fee income.
    • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and cross-selling of financial products.
    • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities and risks.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (Credit, Treasury, Risk, and Operations) to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
    • Prepare and present business development reports, proposals, and presentations to management.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and the bank’s internal policies in all business development activities.
    • Represent the bank at industry events, networking opportunities, and client engagements.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field (Master’s degree or MBA is an added advantage).
    • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in business development, sales, or relationship management within the financial services sector (merchant banking, investment banking, or commercial banking preferred).
    • Strong understanding of corporate finance, investment products, and credit structuring.
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and client acquisition targets.

    • Excellent business development and negotiation skills.
    • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
    • High level of initiative, result orientation, and self-motivation.
    • Strong networking and relationship-building ability.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

    Performance Metrics

    • Number and quality of new client accounts acquired.
    • Growth in deposit and loan portfolio.
    • Revenue generated from fees, commissions, and interest income.
    • Client retention and satisfaction levels.
    • Achievement of assigned sales and business growth targets.

    Bank Teller

    Key Responsibilities

    • Process cash/cheque deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
    • Balance daily transactions and maintain accurate records.
    • Verify authenticity of cash and instruments.
    • Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, and internal controls.
    • Handle customer inquiries and promote bank products.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree/HND in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
    • 1–2 years’ banking or cashiering experience.
    • Strong numeracy, accuracy, and customer service skills.
    • High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
