    Business Development Executive

    About the job

    • Our client, an Oil and Gas service company focused on providing diverse services to the oil & gas industry in Nigeria and Africa is looking to hire for the role of Business Development Executive.
    • The Business Development Executive is to assist the Business Development Manager with the development and execution of appropriate marketing and business development strategies in order to support the achievement of sustainable profitability and market growth.

    Operational Responsibilities

    • Liaises with the relevant Business-Unit to prepare the company's sales and business development plan, budget and targets ensuring that they are in line with the company’s budget priorities, corporate strategy
    • Assists the Business Development Manager in setting the objectives by which the Department implements its approved strategic plans, budget and targets
    • Works with the Business Development Manager to develop and execute marketing initiatives to improve profitability, enhance market presence and the competitive performance of all Company's services offerings and products
    • Actively participates in facilitating the establishment and growth of Company’s network of relevant contacts in client and prospect organisations, communities, interest groups and public agencies; towards identifying opportunities for the client and strengthening its brand image
    • Conducts regular assessments to determine profit potential of existing markets, considering sales and expenditure statistics
    • Monitors the company’s chosen industries and markets to anticipate developments that may impact the business and provides relevant inputs to the Business Development Manager to guide leadership
    • Proactively identifies relevant industry, trade and/or market events to help build the company’s profile and support business pipeline development and advises leadership accordingly
    • Coordinates the company participation at agreed industry and market events
    • Prepares bi-monthly reports on the department’s marketing and business development activities to the Business Development Manager

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 2.2 Bachelors
    • Professional certification (required)
    • 5+ years post qualification experience in similar organisation
    • Marketing project management and delivery
    • Industry/market knowledge
    • Business and market intelligence Client and stakeholder engagement
    • Development of creative promotional materials
    • Creativity

    Chief Audit Executive

    JOB SUMMARY

    • To provide audit oversight and strategic review for the group and its investee companies.
    • Ensure financial, operational and compliance related audits to facilitate compliance with the group’s governance program, federal and state laws, industry and corporate standards and international financial reporting standards.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Relationship Management
    • Develop, implement & review a risk-based audit framework
    • Provide objective assurance on the audit effectiveness and on the identification of the risks

    REQUIREMENTS

    • First degree or its equivalent in a numerate discipline, MBA or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting required Minimum Experience
    • 8 years relevant experience of which at least two (5) years must have involved significant exposure to audit
    • Professional Membership Chartered membership of ICAN/ ACCA required
    • The CAE will have a strong understanding of the emerging industry trends, business risks and audit professional requirements to oversee development and completion of the annual Audit Plan
    • The CAE will also have responsibility to ensure that recommended and agreed action plans are implemented as agreed and present status report to the Audit Committee
