    Battery Swap Hub Lead

    Role Overview:

    The Battery Swap Hub Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the battery swap hub, ensuring the efficient charging, distribution, retrieval, and availability of batteries across assigned Battery Swap Stations (BSS). The role requires close coordination with Hub Distribution Officers and BSS Attendants to maintain optimal battery availability, ensure chargers and equipment operate safely and efficiently, and support the achievement of daily operational targets. The Hub Lead will also be responsible for maintaining accurate operational records and providing timely reports on battery swap activities within the hub's coverage area.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage the day-to-day activities of the hub by ensuring depleted batteries are charged and distributed
    • Coordinate timely distribution of batteries and retrieval of charged batteries from BSS.
    • Maintain all chargers and ensure they operated within the manufacturers safe limit.
    • Provide timely reports of batteries swapped across all BSS within the radius of the hub daily.
    • Collaborate effectively with hub distribution officers and BSS attendants to ensure daily targets are met.

    Requirements

    • 1–2+ years’ experience in operations, logistics, fleet management, energy operations, battery management, or a similar role. 
    • Experience managing day-to-day operational activities and coordinating teams to achieve performance targets. 
    • Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities and priorities effectively. 
    • Good reporting and data management skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools. 
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with distribution officers, BSS attendants, and other stakeholders
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to health, safety, and operational compliance. 
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or shifts, where required by operational needs. 
    • Basic understanding of battery charging systems, battery swap operations, and electrical equipment is an advantage. 

    Education

    Ordinary National Diploma OND/Higher National Diploma (HND) or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Operations Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

    Fleet Officer, Ibadan

    Role Overview: 

    Responsible for inspecting, testing, and assessing vehicles before and after maintenance/refurbishment to ensure repairs meet established standards, while monitoring spare parts utilization, supporting maintenance process improvements, guiding technicians on best practices, and ensuring proper documentation and training.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Test vehicles before maintenance to ascertain the level of repair to be carried out
    • Follow up the process of repair to ensure that spare parts appropriated for maintenance work is utilized judiciously.
    • Work with the vehicle maintenance manager to improve on checklists and maintenance routines
    • Periodically visit Authorized Service Workshops to confirm that maintenance work is carried out according to MAX routines and standards.
    • Inspect/Test Vehicles after maintenance to ensure that the needed repairs are carried out.

    Vehicle Refurbishment:

    • Support in the assessment of vehicles using the pre-assessment checklist before refurbishment is carried out to ascertain the level of damage
    • Inspect spare parts which are to be used for refurbishment purposes to ensure it meets the requirements
    • Inspect/Test vehicles after refurbishment using the post-assessment checklist to confirm the vehicles are refurbished to set standards
    • Guide technicians on maintenance best practices

    Administrative Function:

    • Ensure job cards are filled out for every vehicle brought into the facility for maintenance/refurbishment.
    • Conduct frequent training of technicians

    Requirements

    • Minimum of OND in any Engineering discipline. Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
    • 2 Years cognate experience as a vehicle technician or 2 years experience in fleet management

    Skills & Competencies

    • Strong interpersonal and communication(written and oral) skills
    • Good understanding of Inventory Control principles and practices
    • Proficient in MS Office/Google Workspace
    • Good understanding of fleet management
    • Critical and Analytical thinking Accuracy and Attention to detail Confidentiality and Thoroughness

    Check-in / Check-Out Officer

    Role Overview: 

    As a Vehicle Operations/Check in and Out at MAX, You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth check-in and check-out of vehicles, maintaining accurate records, and delivering excellent customer service.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintain a record of all vehicle movement into and out of the premises
    • Maintain a record of vehicle condition prior to check-in
    • Responsible for ensuring that all vehicles entering the facility are checked in using the provided Movement software (MAX ONE)
    • Responsible for ensuring that all vehicles exiting the facility are checked out using the provided Movement software
    • Responsible for updating the data on MAX ONE on vehicle inactivity.
    • Conducting ride test for Prospects
    • Conducting Vision Acuity Test for prospects
    • Liaise with maintenance team to ensure that vehicles for maintenance are checked in appropriately so clear maintenance data is generated
    • Responsible for pre-check in inspection for all vehicles to ascertain vehicle condition at the time of check in.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of OND in Business, Operations, Logistics, or a related field.
    • 1-2 years' experience in similar role
    • Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
    • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
