    Auto Trimmer

    Job Summary

    • Finishes and repairs fiberglass components using spray gun, buffer, polish, compound putty and other required fillers
    • Determine and select material abrasive production requirements and comply with grinding and polishing standards
    • Complete the finishing process as required by production
    • Remove scratches, fill voids, apply new finish, etc.
    • Experience with various resins, gel-coats, fiberglass materials, foam and other adhesives
    • Operate light hand power tools not limited to paint spray gun, buffer, sanders, drills, grinders,hoists and additional specialty tools as required for production
    • Check and inspect using a knowledge of fiberglass, for conformity and repair discrepancies if detected
    • Perform other duties as assigned by management, supervisors and/or management

    Requirements

    • High School Diploma or Technical Certification required
    • 6 - 9 years of experience.
    • Must follow all safety standards and procedures; including chemical handling standards and Personal Protective Equipment
    • Must adhere to all quality standards and adhere to new standards as processes evolve
    • Must demonstrate record of dependability and reliability with prior work or professional experience
    • Must demonstrate the ability to work well with teams professional or otherwise
    • Understand and follow verbal and written directions
    • Ability to use hand, battery, and pneumatic tools
    • Ability to work in close proximity to co-workers and work in areas with limited space
    • Skills in fiberglass and/or gel-coat applications required.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements include respirators, gloves, safety glasses
    • Have the ability to work in a hot and humid non-climate controlled environment.
    • Ability to work a 10+ hour shift standing, bending, reaching, climbing on and through stairs, and molds, throughout the duration of your shift.
    • Moderate lifting ability up to 50 lbs.
    • Ability to work in a fast paced, noisy environment
    • Have the flexibility to work overtime both planned and unplanned to meet company goals.

    Auto Panel Beater

    Job Description

    • Assessing the extent of motor vehicle repairs, restoration, or customization requests.
    • Managing customer expectations.
    • Preparing repair or modification cost estimates and finalizing agreements.
    • Planning, organizing, and scheduling the workflow.
    • Accommodating customization requests.
    • Ensuring compliance to industry specifications and safety standards.
    • Operating recovery vehicles.
    • Regularly updating customers on the progress of their repairs.
    • Restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition by removing dents, mending parts, removing rust, repairing scratches, and spray painting panels.

    Requirements

    • Panel Beater Certification, or equivalent vocational training.
    • Candidates should possess an NCE / OND / SSCE / GCE / NECO
    • At least 3 years experience as Vehicle Finisher/ Panel Beater.
    • Previous experience as a Panel Beater would be advantageous
    • Physically fit and able to operate heavy machinery.
    • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
    • Availability to work overtime when needed.
    • Spray painting, general welding, and brazing experience.
    • Ability to operate mechanical, hydraulic, and metalworking equipment.
    • Thorough knowledge of automotive industry safety specifications and regulations.

    Automobile Electrician (Rewires)

    Job Description

    • The Automobile Electrician will be mainly involved in installing and repairing electrical wiring, diagnosing problems with vehicle electrical systems, repairing damaged electrical parts, and maintaining electrical equipment for automotive machinery

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the repair of electrical and electronic faults in cars and motor vehicles. This may include replacing damaged or faulty parts where necessary
    • Perform routine checks and tests to verify the condition of a vehicle.
    • Assemble and install electrical and electronic system in motor vehicles.
    • Gather information from customers about issues with their vehicle electrical systems
    • Diagnose electrical issues and propose a satisfactory course of action which will result in problem solving.
    • Undertake electrical repairs on various vehicles with outstanding results.
    • Service and repair auto electrical systems.
    • Prepare time schedule for repair completion for customers and deliver within the stipulated period.
    • Install new vehicle wiring system.
    • Check/inspect any error after servicing before vehicle is delivered to customer.
    • Repair parts and equipment when needed.
    • Install and troubleshoot immobilizer and alarm systems
    • Coordinate all electrical work being done on vehicle as and when due.
    • Advise customer on the usage of electrical part to avoid damage and ultimate loss.
    • Provide information for job report and service log.
    • Advise the purchasing unit on the best auto electrical part to purchase.
    • Relate with customers in friendly way to ensure close connection to with company.
    • Always maintain a clean working environment.
    • Ensure that tools and equipment are well stored after use.
    • Responsible for the handling of fragile tools and equipment to ensure their longevity.
    • Liaise with the workshop manager on the way forward to a persisting problem.
    • Deliver excellent and top-notch electrical service to customer.
    • Suggest and advise the company on initiatives needed for growth and expansion.

    Qualifications

    • Trade Test, Diploma, OND or HND in Automotive or ElectricalEngineering
    • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience.

    Technical:

    • MUST be very skillful/experienced in using diagnostic tools and sofwares in detecting and rectifying electrical and sofware auto issues.
    • Extensive knowledge of modern vehicular electrical systems
    • An analytical mind with problem-solving skills
    • A good team player and eye for detail
    • Problem Solving/Analysis and troubleshooting skill
    • Strategic thinking and strong execution skills.

    Non-Technical:

    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
    • Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making
