    Assistant Mechanic

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct regular maintenance on machinery, systems, and automotive vehicles.
    • Meet with clients to better understand their concerns and identify the issue.
    • Assemble mechanical components according to specifications.
    • Maintain work logs, repairs, and maintenance records.
    • Monitor inventory and order new parts when necessary.
    • Offer consultation on maintenance and preventative procedures to machine and vehicle users.
    • Perform vehicle assessments and alert clients on issues that will prohibit their vehicles from passing inspection.

    Requirements

    • SSCE, Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is preferred.
    • A minimum of 4-5 years experience in a similar role.
    • In-depth knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment and mechanical systems.
    • Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for problem-solving.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

    Merchandiser (Cosmetics)

    Description 

    • Our client is looking to hire an experienced Merchandiser to produce sales by providing point-of-purchase and shelf management services.

    Responsibilities

    • Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customers’ expectations and company’s objectives
    • Analyse sales figures, customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock
    • Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scales
    • Maximise customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately
    • Produce layout plans for stores and maintain store shelves and inventory
    • Forecast profits/sales and plan budgets
    • Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs etc
    • Build constructive customer relationships and team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
    • Remain up to date with industry’s best practices

    Requirements and skills

    • HND / BSc Degree in Marketing or related field
    • 3-5 years proven working experience in merchandising
    • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
    • Up-to-date with the latest merchandising trends and best practices
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
    • Strong listening, presentation and decision making skills
    • Commercial acumen and the ability to “decode” customers.

    Chief Mechanic

    Job Description

    • Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
    • Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
    • Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
    • Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle use
    • Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)
    • Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job
    • Keep logs on work and issues
    • Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
    • Basic knowledge of the car
    • Hands on experience for Engine repairing
    • Hands on experience for Car OBD Scanner us and fault detection
    • CNG conversion preferable
    • Hands on experience of Laptop is compulsory
    • Knowledge of the engine tunning is preferable.

    Requirements and skills

    • SSCE, Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is preferred.
    • Proven experience as auto mechanic
    • Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles
    • Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
    • Ability to handle various tools (e.g. pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g. lift)
    • Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.
    • Excellent physical condition.
