    Admin Officer

    Job Summary

    • The Admin Officer will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the farm, ensuring proper documentation, record management, logistics coordination, and general office administrat
    • The successful candidate will work closely with the Farm Manager and other departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide administrative support to the Farm Manager and other departmental heads.
    • Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation, both electronic and hard copy.
    • Prepare reports, correspondence, meeting minutes, and other official documents.
    • Coordinate staff attendance records, leave schedules, and administrative documentation.
    • Monitor office supplies and initiate timely procurement requests.
    • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, telephone calls, and visitors.
    • Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodation, and logistics where required.
    • Assist in maintaining fixed asset and inventory records.

    Experience:

    • Experience in agriculture, manufacturing, or FMCG will be an added advantage.
    • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

    • The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing preventive healthcare programs, disease surveillance, biosecurity measures, vaccination schedules, and veterinary interventions to ensure optimal breeder performance and hatchability results.
    • The role requires close collaboration with farm management, production teams, hatchery personnel, and laboratory staff to maintain high standards of poultry health and operational efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities
    Flock Health Management:

    • Develop and implement comprehensive breeder flock health programs
    • Monitor flock health, mortality, morbidity, body weight, uniformity, and production performance
    • Diagnose, treat, and manage poultry diseases and health challenges
    • Conduct routine farm visits and health assessments across breeder farms
    • Investigate disease outbreaks and implement corrective actions promptly

    Vaccination and Disease Control:

    • Develop and oversee breeder vaccination schedules

    Field Supervisor - Maize & Forage Production

    Job Summary

    • The Field Supervisor – Maize & Forage Production will support the Agronomist in planning, coordinating, and supervising daily field operations.
    • The successful candidate will ensure that maize and forage production activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with approved agronomic practices to achieve optimal yield and quality.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supervise all field activities, including land preparation, planting, fertiliser application, irrigation, weed control, pest and disease management, and harvesting.

    • Coordinate with the Agronomist and farm management to ensure the timely availability of farm inputs, equipment, machinery, and manpower.
    • Ensure routine maintenance, cleanliness, and proper utilisation of farm machinery, irrigation systems, and field infrastructure.
    • Monitor compliance with environmental, safety, and biosecurity standards applicable to farm operations.
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing productivity, reducing operational costs, and improving maize and forage quality.
    • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly field operation reports for management.
    • Perform any other duties assigned by the Agronomist or Farm Manager.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Agronomy, Crop Production, Agriculture, Agricultural Science, or a related field.
    • Relevant professional certification will be an added advantage.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 3 years' experience supervising crop production operations, preferably in maize, forage, or large-scale commercial farming.
    • Practical experience in field operations, irrigation systems, crop management, and farm machinery coordination.
    • Experience supervising field workers and contractors.
