    Accounts Clerk

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Provide accounting and clerical support to the company.
    • Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.
    • Reconcile bank accounts in a timely manner.
    • Daily input of key financial transactions.
    • Provide assistance and support to the company’s management and personnel.
    • Research, track and resolve accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies.
    • Prepare periodic management reports and financial statements.
    • Liaise with the Auditors.

    Education and Experience

    • Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Accounting or Associate Accounting Technician (AAT)
    • Knowledge of applicable tax laws, codes and regulations affecting the industry.
    • 3 years post qualification experience.

    Key Competencies:

    • Speak, read and write good English.
    • Understand basic accounting principles and procedures.
    • Have fast, accurate data entry skills.
    • Excellent use of Microsoft Word and, spreadsheets.
    • Have good problem-solving skills.
    • Must pay attention to details.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Set specific marketing goals
    • Design and implement marketing strategies aligned with business targets
    • Develop digital campaigns to increase web traffic
    • Analyze sales and marketing metrics
    • Forecast market trends

    Education and Experience

    Experienced Accountant

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Ensure that the financial transactions of the firm are accurately captured, classified, and posted with relevant approvals and coding instructions
    • Receivables Management
    • Payables Management
    • Ensure accurate and timely invoicing for clients
    • Perform regular reviews of the ledgers and other books of entries and ensure relevant reconciliations
    • Ensure confidentiality and safe keeping of accounting records and documents
    • Adhere to financial and accounting control procedures of the Company
    • Carry out monthly Tax Returns (PAYE, VAT, Withholding Tax, e.t.c.).

    Education and Experience

    • Accounting Degree or equivalent
    • 3-5 years’ experience required.
    • Between 25 - 35 years of age
    • Knowledge of applicable tax laws, codes and regulations in the industry
    • Working knowledge and experience of an accounting software / ERP
    • Membership of relevant professional bodies such as Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN) is an added advantage.

    Key Competencies:

    • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
    • Experience with keeping financial records
    • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
    • Excellent accounting software use
    • Active, smart and catches up quickly.

    Internal Audit Officer

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Assessing the company’s risk
    • Safeguarding assets
    • Gathering and analysing data
    • Checking the accuracy of financial reports
    • Auditing the efficiency of business processes
    • Ensuring the business adheres to policies, procedures, legislations and regulations
    • Stakeholder communication

    Reports
    Included but not limited to:

    • Weekly / Monthly Reports (which include records on the internal findings and recommendationsin order to improve the operations of the company.

    Education and Experience

    • OND / HND holders.
    • Between 25 - 33 years of age
    • 1-2 years experience required.
    • Experience in the hospitality industry will be an added advantage.

    • Regulatory knowledge
