    Accounting Officer

    Job Summary

    • This role is critical for maintaining the financial health and integrity of our operations.
    • The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented and analytical individual who thrives in a collaborative environment.

    Key Responsibilities
    The Accounting Officer will be responsible for:

    • Managing day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance & reconciliation.
    • Preparing accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
    • Ensuring strict compliance with statutory legislation and financial regulations.
    • Conducting detailed financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to support decision-making.
    • Coordinating with internal and external auditors during the financial audit process.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

    Projects Supervisor

    Job Summary

    • We are currently seeking a highly competent and experienced projects supervisor to join our team.
    • As a project supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of assigned projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and coordinating the activities of site engineers.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Take charge of all engineering construction activities on assigned projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
    • Coordinate and supervise the activities of site engineers to ensure efficient project execution.
    • Work closely with the company's executive assistant and external structural/quality control team (consultants) to ensure conformity with company standards and offerings to our subscribers.
    • Implement the company's construction policy and ensure that project designs align with the company's standards.
    • Ensure site engineers are well-informed and equipped to carry out their responsibilities effectively.
    • Monitor and coordinate their activities to guarantee the successful implementation of projects in line with construction policy documents and checklists.
    • Ensure that construction works align with project designs and are free from errors or inconsistencies.
    • Implement the company's project checklist to maintain quality assurance throughout the construction process.
    • Optimize the utilization of financial resources and materials allocated for site use.
    • Take responsibility for minimizing wastage on-site and be held accountable for resource management.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess an HND qualification / Bachelor's Degree. Masters in structural engineering will be an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in high-rise building project supervision within the construction industry.
    • Relevant educational qualifications in structural engineering or a related field.
    • Professional certification, including COREN, NSE, or equivalent, is required.
    • Familiarity with construction standards and best practices.
    • Strong organizational and leadership skills to effectively coordinate site engineers and monitor project progress.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
