    Junior Accountant

    Job Summary:

    We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and supporting daily accounting operations to ensure accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
    • Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
    • Reconcile bank statements and ledgers.
    • Support accounts payable and receivable processes.
    • Maintain proper documentation for all accounting transactions.
    • Assist with budget tracking and financial analysis.
    • Help with tax filings and compliance tasks.
    • Support internal and external audit processes.
    • Perform general administrative duties related to finance.

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    • Master’s/Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance with an ICAN or ACCA certification.
    • 2–3 years of relevant work experience (NYSC experience can count).

    Senior Accountant

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing daily accounting activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and contributing to financial planning and analysis efforts. This role plays a key part in maintaining the integrity of our financial records and supporting strategic decision-making.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
    • Manage general ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal postings.
    • Ensure compliance with local tax laws and support tax filings (VAT, income tax, etc.).
    • Lead the month-end and year-end close processes.
    • Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation.
    • Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce accurate reports and forecasts.
    • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
    • Recommend and implement improvements to financial systems and procedures.
    • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff as needed.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial matters.

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    • Master’s/Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance
    • Charted Accountant (ACA)
    • Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles 
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Orion) and Microsoft Excel.
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
    • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
    • Experience in manufacturing, IT industry.
    • Familiarity with financial modeling and data analysis.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Geotechnical Engineer

    Job Summary: 

    • He/she shall be responsible for all subsoil geotechnical matters as well as all soils and construction materials used in the works.
    • Shall possess a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, or a M.Sc. in Geo-technics or Soil Mechanics.
    • Must demonstrate having served as a Geotechnical/ Soils & Materials Engineer in a road/bridge construction project during the last twelve (12) years.
    • He/She shall justify having participated in the supervision of at least two road/bridge construction project in the last ten (10) years in Sub-Sahara Africa
    • Shall be fluent in one (1) of the ECOWAS Official Languages (French, English or Portuguese). The knowledge of any other language amongst them will be an advantage.
