    Accountant

    Our Client, a reputable Company is looking for suitable and qualified candidates to fill the role of an ACCOUNTANT

    Job Description

    • Complying with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations.
    • Compiling, analysing, and reporting financial data.
    • Creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc.
    • Presenting data to managers, investors, and other entities.
    • Maintaining accurate financial records.
    • Performing audits and resolving discrepancies.
    • Computing taxes.
    • Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting.
    • Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts.

    Skills

    • Experience with accounting software and data entry
    • Excellent understanding of accounting rules and procedures including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
    • Advanced knowledge and experience of spreadsheets
    • Ability to work independently
    • Analytical, communication and computer skills

    Requirements

    • Min of HND in Accounting
    • Min of 3 years’ cognate experience as an ACCOUNTANT
    • Must have worked in a Hotel/Restaurant
    • Must understand mathematics and financial processes
    • Professional Certification is a Plus
    • Must reside around LEKKI/AJAH and its environs

    Cosmetic Laboratory Chemist (Cosmetics)

    Location: Lekki / Ajah, Lagos
    Employment Type: Full-time

    Responsibilities

    • Analyze organic and inorganic compounds to determine their composition
    • Conduct qualitative and quantitative experiments
    • Customize formulas
    • Write technical reports
    • Develop nonstandard tests
    • Maintain lab equipment and troubleshoot
    • Ensure compliance with laboratory health and safety guidelines

    Requirements

    • Minimum of B.Sc. in Chemistry or any related course
    • Minimum of 5 years proven work experience as a Laboratory Chemist in the cosmetics industry
    • Experience in custom formulations is very important
    • Good knowledge of laboratory health and safety standards
    • Additional certification (Master’s degree or a PhD) is a plus

    Skills:

    • Good organizational skills.
    • Good interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent knowledge of PC software, MS Office, Word, Excel.
    • Good written and verbal communication skills.
    • Excellent Chemistry background as well as practical application of the technical knowledge.
    • Excellent understanding and attitude towards GMP and GLP, which will increase with job level.
    • Excellent analytical and research skills
    • Attention to detail

    Project Engineer

    Our Client; a reputable CONSTRUCTION firm is looking to fill the role of PROJECT ENGINEER

    Job Location: Lagos

    Job profile

    The ideal candidate shall be responsible for all engineering and technical disciplines that involve projects.

    S/he shall oversee operating processes used to complete projects and create schedules, plans, forecast, resource and manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion.

    Job Description

    • Preparing, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
    • Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
    • Evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conduct research programs and further apply the knowledge acquired.
    • Confirm systems and components' capabilities by designing testing methods, testing properties.
    • Design and develop electrical products and solutions by studying customer requirements, designing and implementing appropriate products/solutions.
    • Assure product quality by designing electrical testing methods; testing finished products and system capabilities.
    • Provide alternative power, Engineering and security information by answering questions on all products and services that company offers.
    • Efficiently manage projects scopes, timelines, budgets and perform quality control on all projects to ensure expectations are met.
    • Keep equipment operational by following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures, requesting repair service.
    • Maintain product data base by keeping both soft copy and hard copy inventory and database.
    • Provide leadership and monitor the compliance of the project to ensure that industry codes and practices are adhered to.
    • Complete projects and training and guiding junior engineers and technicians.
    • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
    • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and check that staff members perform their duties to a high standard to ensure the project runs smoothly, overseeing the needs of the client, and finding ways to improve processes.

    • Minimum of 4 years Cognate experience as a PROJECT ENGINEER in a construction company
    • Project Management Certificate/Diploma is a plus
    • AutoCAD skills is mandatory
    • Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
    • Significant working knowledge of design and visualization software such as AutoCAD
    • MUST reside around Surulere and its environs
