    Accountant

    Location: Ikeja, Lagos

    Job Description

    • Preparation of asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
    • documenting financial transactions by accurately posting on accounting softwares (Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics is an added advantage).
    • Recommending financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
    • Summarizing current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
    • Ensuring all bank statements are correctly reconciled.
    • Co-ordinating disbursement of petty cash and posting same to the accounting software.
    • Reconciling financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with minimum of 2 years experience.
    • Pratical knowledge of accounting software packages,microsoft office suite
    • Experience in hospitality industry
    • Pratical knowledge of supervising branches
    • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
    • Prior knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics application.
    • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, Auditing practices, standards, laws and regulations
    • High attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to direct and supervise

    Internal Control Manager

    Location: Ikeja, Lagos

    Responsibilities

    • Own the design, implementation, documentation, assessment, and monitor the internal control framework, including policies and key risks in order to ensure that there are adequate controls to prevent unintentional and intentional errors in financial reporting, processes, and business operations.
    • Lead the process for internal controls reviews across the Company
    • Conduct audit and control checks of departments and units
    • Deliver adequate and timely reporting on the internal control framework and control deficiencies to ensure appropriate communication, documentation, escalation to business partners, senior leadership and audit committee
    • Perform call-over on payments made by Finance Department
    • Ensure regular inventory checks are conducted on all stock control records
    • Continually safeguarding the company's assets, tangible and otherwise
    • Review and vet financial transactions and payments of invoices on the company's accounting software.
    • Carry out a review of SAGE postings to provide assurance on posting accuracy
    • Work collaboratively with business and process owners to implement and monitor remediation efforts that result from internal control assessments, ensuring the effective implementation of corrective action.
    • Conduct any other related tasks assigned by the management from time to time.

    Requirement

    Human Resource Officer

    Location: Ikeja, Lagos

    Responsibilities

    • Answer questions regarding examinations, eligibility, salaries, benefits, and other pertinent information;
    • Arrange for advertising or posting of job vacancies, and notify eligible workers of position availability;
    • Compile and prepare reports and documents pertaining to personnel activities;

    • Record data for each employee, including such information as addresses, weekly earnings, absences, amount of sales or production, supervisory reports on performance, and dates of and reasons for terminations;
    • Request information from law enforcement officials, previous employers, and other references to determine applicants' employment acceptability.
