Job Description

• As a WordPress Web Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality websites using WordPress. You will collaborate with our marketing, content, and development teams to ensure our websites meet the highest standards of design, functionality, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Website Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites with a focus on aesthetics, usability, and performance.
• Customization: Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet the specific needs of our projects.
• Content Integration: Integrate and manage content, ensuring it is displayed effectively and engagingly.
• User Experience: Create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the user experience.
• Responsive Design: Ensure all websites are responsive and optimized for different devices and browsers.
• SEO Best Practices: Implement SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic.
• Design: Strong proficiency in vector and raster designs e.g Logos, Banners etc.
• Maintenance and Updates: Perform regular updates and maintenance to ensure website security and performance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with content creators, marketers, and developers to align website design with overall branding and marketing strategies.
• Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct thorough testing to ensure websites are free of bugs and issues. Troubleshoot and resolve any problems that arise.

Preferred Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree
• Experience with e-commerce platforms like WooCommerce.
• Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with website analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in web design and development, specifically with WordPress.

Skills:

• Proficiency in WordPress, including theme and plugin customization.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools.
• Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD).
• Strong understanding of web design principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
