We are looking for an experienced WordPress Developer who can build complex, high-performance websites and also properly structure WordPress sites for SEO. This includes technical SEO setup, clean site architecture, schema, speed optimization, and on-page best practices — not just installing SEO plugins.
This role is for developers who are strong in custom WordPress coding and advanced builds, not basic drag-and-drop work.
What You’ll Do
Build and maintain complex WordPress websites
Develop custom themes, plugins, and advanced site functionality
Implement advanced layouts, interactions, and animations
Properly structure WordPress websites for SEO (technical + on-page)
Set up clean URLs, headings, schema, internal linking, and SEO-friendly architecture
Optimize websites for speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile responsiveness, and SEO
Write clean, scalable PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Debug, improve, and maintain existing WordPress projects
Work independently in a fully remote environment
Requirements
Minimum 4 years experience working with WordPress
Strong proficiency in WordPress core, PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Proven ability to build complex WordPress websites with custom functionality
Strong understanding of WordPress SEO structure and technical SEO
Ability to properly implement headings, metadata, schema, internal linking, and site architecture
Experience optimizing sites for speed and search engine performance
