• Our client is currently seeking a skilled Precision Panel Saw Operator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately and efficiently operating precision panel saw equipment to cut materials according to specifications. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the production of high-quality components for our finished products.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate precision panel saws according to job specifications.
• Ensure accurate measurements and dimensions for each cutting task.
• Load materials onto the saw, taking into account material characteristics and specifications.
• Safely operate forklifts or other equipment for material movement when necessary.
• Operate precision panel saws to cut materials with precision and efficiency.
• Monitor the cutting process, making real-time adjustments as needed to ensure accuracy.
• Inspect cut materials to verify they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Address and rectify any deviations from the required dimensions.
• Perform routine maintenance on precision panel saws to ensure optimal performance.
• Identify and report any malfunctions or issues promptly.
• Collaborate with other team members, including machine technicians and production staff, to optimize workflow.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
• Report any safety concerns or incidents immediately.

Qualifications

• OND or equivalent is required.
• Additional technical or vocational training related to precision machining is a plus.
• Familiarity with different types of precision panel saws and their specifications.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and cutting specifications.
• Proficient in the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of precision panel saw machinery.
• Keen eye for detail to ensure precision and quality in cut materials.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and convey machine-related information.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials.
• Stamina to stand for extended periods during machine operation.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address machine issues and optimize production processes.
