Well Intervention Specialist at Scruples Resources

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and review well intervention activities and provide solutions for well integrity issues.
• Support routine well intervention, well diagnostics, and downhole remediation activities.
• Develop detailed operational procedures for intervention operations.
• Evaluate and trial new well completion and intervention technologies.
• Work closely with Drilling and Frac Service teams on wellhead transitions, barriers, and fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Monitor well and field completion performance and integrity using industry-recognized software.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and well barrier requirements.
• Support safe and efficient execution of wireline, slickline, coiled tubing, and other intervention operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering.
• 10–15 years of experience in rigless well intervention operations.
• Strong experience in wireline, slickline, and coiled tubing design, planning, and execution.
• Experience with sour gas, unconventional, HPHT, tight gas, or tight oil wells is highly desirable.
• Proven experience with completion design, tubing movement, coiled tubing, wireline, slickline, hydraulic fracturing, and flowback operations.
• Strong knowledge of wellhead and downhole completion design, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of well integrity, well barriers, intervention safety, and industry standards.
• Experience applying new technologies and best practices to optimize well intervention operations.
