We are seeking a highly experienced Welding Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in welding engineering and at least 5 years of experience in the oil and gas/construction environment.
The ideal candidate must be able to support the creation of a distinct organizational culture, build a unique employer brand, facilitate it’s adoption and promotion by employees while ensuring the organization has the right talent pool that are effectively deployed, managed, rewarded and engaged in a cost effective and sustainable manner.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in any Engineering field.
Certification in any of the following or it’s equivalent:
International Welding Engineering Certificate (IWE)
European Welding Engineering Certificate (EWE)
American Welding Engineering Certificate (AWE)
Minimum of 10 years in Welding Engineering, with at least 5 years in the oil and Gas/ Construction Establishment.
Proficiency in material selection and metallurgy
Proficiency in the use and interpretation of major IOC specification and international codes and standards.
Proficiency in Engineering drawing interpretation, weld mapping and extraction of welding details.
