Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and reliable Welder/Fabricator to join our workshop in Amuwo Odofin, Lagos.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding metal structures and components according to specifications, ensuring high quality, safety, and durability.

Key Responsibilities

• The Welder/Fabricator will read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and job specifications accurately. The role involves cutting, shaping, and assembling metal materials using appropriate tools and machinery.
• The candidate will perform welding tasks using methods such as arc welding, MIG, or gas welding, depending on job requirements.
• They will fabricate gates, frames, supports, tanks, racks, and other metal structures as required.
• The role also includes inspecting finished products to ensure strength, alignment, and quality standards are met. The Welder/Fabricator will maintain welding tools and equipment in good working condition, follow safety procedures at all times, and keep the work area clean and organized. Occasional installation or repair work may be required at client sites.

Requirements and Qualifications

• The ideal candidate must have proven experience as a welder or fabricator, preferably in a workshop or construction environment.
• Ability to read drawings and take accurate measurements is essential.
• The candidate should have good knowledge of welding techniques, metal types, and fabrication processes.
• Physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision are required. Basic safety awareness and willingness to follow instructions are mandatory. Technical training or apprenticeship experience will be an added advantage.

Working Conditions

• The role is workshop-based in Amuwo Odofin, with possible field work when required. Working hours may include overtime depending on project demands.
