    Weighing Support Lead

    Job Summary

    • The Weighing Lead Support will be responsible to lead shift weighing operation, ensuring accurate and timely weighing of raw materials required as per the production plan.
    • He will also be responsible for the calibration & maintenance of all weighing equipment, and proper coordination of manpower to diver compounding products safely and with good quality right first time.

    Responsibilities

    • He will be primarily responsible for maintaining the safety culture of his respective area.
    • Provide direction and guidance to the weighing team on accurate weighing of all raw materials as per the production plan and weighing sheets.
    • Support daily weighing activities to ensure timely material availability for compounding.
    • Support with material receipt from the warehouse, ensuring all related documents and TO transactions are done in a None timely manner as per procedure.
    • Verify raw material status (GR sticker, QC release, NART number, Batch number & Expiry date) before weighing
    • Manage weighing, staging and segregation of all weighed raw material, ensuring accurate handshake of materials to the mixing team as per procedure.
    • Support the management of raw material remnants and the weighed RM holding areas.
    • Perform first-level checks on weighing documentation for completeness and accuracy.
    • Support clearance of materials between SKUs to prevent mix-ups.
    • Drive an accurate raw material stock count and zero material wastage.
    • Adhere strictly to the right process order and maintain proper documentation at all times.
    • Monitor adherence to SOPs, GMP and GDP during weighing operations.
    • Ensure chemical usage is safe with reference to MSDS

    Qualifications

    • A minimum of a BSc/HND in Physical Sciences or Engineering (Chemical Engineering) is preferred.
    • 2-3 Years of relevant work experience in the FMCG /cosmetics Industries.
    • Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage (tools requisition).
    • Knowledge in dealing with TPM tools.
    • Ability to take on technical projects.
    • Good knowledge of standard software such as MS Office and SAP.
    • Experience with major change processes.
    • Structured and analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to cooperate and work in cross-functional teamwork.
