Responsibilities

• Maintenance and updating of the website.
• Designing and placing elements on a web page.
• Edit images on the website, resizing and cropping images, correcting colors, and ensuring that images are correctly formatted and optimized for mobile and desktop web browsers. In addition, the web graphic designer may create images from scratch and save them as vector images that can be repurposed throughout the site.
• Writing and editing content
• Designing webpage layout
• Determining technical requirements
• Creating back up files
• Solving code problems.

Requirements
Qualification:

• A good degree in Computer Technology, Website Design, Graphic Design or Sciences from a recognized university/ polytechnic.

Work Experience:

• Candidates should have a minimum of three (3) years work experience with proven records. URLs of site(s) handled should be included in your resume.

Professional Skills:

• The ideal candidate should have:
  • Thorough knowledge of WordPress and WooCommerce technologies.
  • Composition Skills.
  • Computer programming languages and graphic design.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Ability to work on a team
  • Very good with Graphic and Photoshop designs to produce quality graphics for web.
  • Familiar with typographical principles and practices
  • Image editing Skills
  • He/ She should have a strong grasp of web coding languages.
  • Familiarity with web marketing designing practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
