Web Developers at Dexterity Group

Responsibilities

• Write efficient code 
• Create websites/a website using standard HTML/CSS practices 
• Work closely with web designers and programmers to produce the website 
• Plan and deliver software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units 
• Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards. 
• Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications. 
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases 
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs 
• Create and maintain software documentation 
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities 
• Constant communication with other colleagues in the business to develop and deploy their content and ensuring there is a clear establishment of what can be created within what timeframe 
• Research different software programs, keep records of software documentation

Requirements & Skills

• Thorough functional knowledge and coding experience and use of word press. top-notch programming skill and in-depth knowledge of modern html/css 
• a solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices 
• experience with server-side frameworks such as python, ruby, php, java, asp, asp.Net 
• experience with database systems such as sql and oracle 
• basic knowledge of search engine optimisation process 
• adequate knowledge of relational database systems, object oriented programming and web application development 
• server architecture 
• hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools 
• ability to multitask with strict time constraints, budgets and business goals 
• strong communication skills 
• ability to work in a team
